What a fabulous experience. You will learn to make Churros the traditional way. A great experience and a great host. You won't regret doing this experience. FYI...the Churros taste so much better than what you will buy on the street.

We had so much fun! It was just a different experience in an intimate setting, in the host's actual apartment. I have young kids and they were able to participate. The churros were delicious and we took home the leftovers, although we finished them at the park later before we even got home.

Mitchel was very nice, but the experience did not match our expectations for the cost. It lasted about an hour, and while engaging, it was very simple and not very involved. There were no snacks or special drinks served. We had to ask for wine, which the description says the experience included, and felt like we were imposing. For the amount of money paid for a family of five, I would not recommend. We’ve done many classes and tours as a family, and this one was on the costly side, and included the least.

Fun, hands on, feel like we could make churros at home now. Would recommend. It’s an individual, not a corporation or business and you cook in his kitchen. If you have the chance, do this (but don’t eat much beforehand).

BEST Churros & hot chocolate! After having Michel’s grandmother’s churros recipe, no other churros compare. He was very knowledgeable and gave awesome tips. So happy we took this class- I can make delicious churros & hot chocolate for my friends & family :)

We had a great time with Michel! We have three kids, 10, 8 and 5, and they all got to be a part of making the churros and loved it! This was a perfect way to do a hands-on activity and Michel was so kind, informative and a great teacher! We definitely recommend.

The churro-making class with Michel was absolutely incredible from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, Michel was so warm and welcoming, and meeting his lovely mum was such a wonderful bonus. We had the most enjoyable evening in their beautiful family home, learning how to make delicious churros from scratch. It was such a thoughtful touch to receive a printed churro recipe card to take home — and we even got to take the leftover churros with us (not that there were many left!). Michel’s mum kindly took photos throughout the evening, which was such a lovely gesture — it means so much to have those memories captured. We truly had an amazing, friendly, and heartwarming experience, and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Michel (and your lovely mum), for making us feel so welcome and at home. I loved that we were invited into Michel’s home and then enjoyed a tradition that was passed down in his family. My kids can’t stop talking about the experience and I had to order the right pastry bag so we could begin making churros as soon as we returned home. This was so much fun to do!! Michel was an excellent host and was SO friendly and fun to talk with. My husband and I are visiting Madrid on our honeymoon and we were excited to see this class available. Michel made sure we were very comfortable in his home and offered us coffee and wine and we talked about how much we all love Taylor Swift! He gave clear and easy instructions for making the churros - which turned out delicious!!! We will absolutely be making this again once we get home to the states!!

We were so happy about our very kind and open-minded guide who invited us into his home to teach us how to make the best Churros and they actually were the best ones we‘ve had so far! He also offered some snacks and something to drink. We also liked that he got straight to the point (which was making churros) but while doing it took the time to answer our questions and talk about (life in) Madrid! We also received the recipe which made it easier for us to focus on the process. At the end we ate some of the churros but also got to take the rest home (but they didn’t last long because we ate them one by one…) Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and sharing your great recipe!

This was such an amazing way to experience Madrid! We learned about Madrid and how to make the most delicious churros with chocolate! We got to take the recipe home which was amazing. The owner was the most friendly and welcoming person. He told us all about his travels and gave us tips and tricks for Spain. The experience was extra special since it was a small group and in his own home. It was so wholesome and such a special experience! I would recommend this tour to anyone travelling in Madrid who want an authentic experience! Would do it 100x over!

This was such an incredible experience! We not only learned how to make delicious churros but we also learned so much about Spanish culinary culture and Spain in general. He answered all our questions about bull fighting, immigration to Spain and his family in his warm and beautiful apartment! Would highly recommend. We shared an intimate experience with 2 other people and the churros instructions were very easy to follow. Cant wait to try the recipe when I get back home!
