Our guide was very knowledgeable on the subject. He has actually written and published a book about the Jack The Ripper story. We saw parts of London we would never ordinarily visited. I do think the group size was too large to get the full experience. I would still recommend this walking tour to anyone that enjoys a little true crime history.

Great experience with a great tour guide. It’s a little sad how much has changed in recent years as buildings get torn down, but still a very interesting history lesson. Remember to dress warm!
Brilliant Tour guide full of Knowledge. Some of the pics are a bit upsetting not recommended for groups with young children or people who are not good with actual crime scene pics. To be fair they do explain some pics are not for everyone and count down before showing it. And when its being removed. Well worth the money .
Absolutely wonderful! He was very informative, enthusiastic, and cared his guests well being. The experience was new and fun. A fascinating way to learn about Jack the Ripper.
I enjoyed seeing East London, but I didn't feel I learned anything on this tour. It is a lot of walking, but the stops were not that interesting.
Experience was awesome! Andre was a very professional and engaging tour guide. He knew the area quite well as he used to live there, and he knew how to put on a show. You will do alot of walking but it is worth it and you might even find out the identity of jack the ripper by the end of your tour.
Very informative and interesting. Lovely day for a stroll. There were some people in the group whom were bothersome. They veered off halfway through.

Alan, our tour guide was phenomenal. His knowledge and expertise was absolutely off the charts. He walked us through the murders, the murder scenes, and the women who brutally died at the hands of Jack the Ripper. Clearly, Alan knows Whitechapel and the other areas of the murders better than anyone. He truly made this tour, one of my favorite London experiences.
Very interesting but does involve walking on uneven surfaces at night. That said the tour guide does a wonderful job leading the group safely, watching out especially for the Uber Eats Delivery bikes.
The Jack the Ripper guided tour was fantastic! Our guide was a fitting character for the event, right down to the leather case the Ripper was believed to carry. He was entertaining and very informative. My wife wasn’t sure she’d enjoy the tour since it was mainly my jam - she loved it! Well done!

It is a real history lesson with stops where the murders occurred, he was very knowledgeable and played the part well!
Even dressed as a Dr!
We have had other ripper walk tours, and this one disappointed us. We went to a number of locations that seemed unrelated to Ripper, but had good white walls, so he could show us photos on them. Some locations are unrecognizable by now, of course, with the passage of time, I can expect that, but we didn’t see one recognizable location. The part that we found the most disappointing was his excessive dramatization when he explained and described the killings. We are talking about human beings, and he shouldn’t have a smile on his face as he describes how they are ripped through with a knife. He also seemed very dismissive of them, describing the victims several times as all being prostitutes, as though that somehow means they are less, and yet that subject has been heavily studied and written on over the years and likely untrue.

Hi sorry you did not enjoy the tour however we must correct you on a few issues. We are voted the number one Jack the Ripper tour in London because we use actual experts and authors and one of the few tours that actually goes to the actual murder sites. If you had an attended other ripper tours in the past chances are you were at the wrong locations. The guides are very animated and great story tellers and their job is the keep the customers engaged and educated. As for the victims career I’m afraid you have read the only book in Ripperology which claims they were not as described. This book has been debunked by most experts as speculative and opinionated and not based on the actual evidence which is readily available to most researchers. We hope you will come back and join us again and I will personally send you a list of locations and you will know you are standing in the right place

Fantastic experience thanks to our engaging guide Andre! He was excellent with sharing his knowledge, sharing warnings prior to looking at any photos, & keeping our group safely on track. My partner, friends, & I all asked questions about the history, theories, etc. to which Andre happily answered. Even after the tour was completed he was more than willing to share his insights which we greatly appreciated. Andre exudes tons of passion & humor throughout the tour and we observed other tours trying to listen in on ours. Thanks Andre for being awesome & making this a great experience!
Wasn’t particularly interesting. While I appreciate the history the area has been so paved over you can’t really envision the history. Shaky projector work. Way too many people I think if it was more private I would have been interested. At the one I went to it felt like 50+ people. Also tour guide needs microphone if your group is going to be this big. Rob the tour guide was pleasant though.

It’s a lot of walking but worth it. Try to get the guide that dresses up like the doctor. He’s awesome. I think his name was Joe.
Put on your walking shoes for this Ripper tour to see all the pertinent sites. A bit creepy because you can picture the crimes in front of your eyes. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and even dressed the part. We enjoyed seeing these scary parts of London, thanks!

Perfect night for the tour, dark, occasional rain sprinkles. Our guide was very good and knowledgeable about the area and ripper murders. He presents an interesting idea about who Jack is.
This was such a fantastic tour! So much information and the pictures were cherry on top. We could not of had a better tour guide. Sinead was the best!
