The tour doesn’t show you much because the building are mostly gone. If your tour guide isn’t a good story teller (ours wasn’t) then it’s just a walk around a not very nice looking area. It’s a missed opportunity to provide other interesting facts about the location.
It was a good tour and very informative. My guide had a lot of information. I also learned there are a lot of unanswered questions to the murders.
Gabby made Jack the Ripper tour exciting with her great story telling. She had great sense of humor too.

My flight was delayed in reaching London. I messaged my uber driver to ensure that we could reach the meeting point on time he said he would try. It was at that point I reached out to the tour to explain the situation. They had a virtual AI service named Sia. I told them I was running late and my estimated time of arrival. The response was that they let my tour guide Martin know I was running late and to take my time and arrive safely. Well I arrived safely to find no tour guide, no explanation, nothing. So unprofessional. I requested a refund through Viator, but the company denied my request so now I am disputing the charge through my bank. The tour was only $27 and being one of the cheapest tours I’ve ever taken through Viator I wouldn’t even dispute the charge. It’s the principle of the matter for me. They failed to communicate properly because if I had known no one would be there I would have just stayed at the airport. If they had reached out and asked are you still on your way I would have just taken the loss but they didn’t. To add insult to injury, they claimed they were tracking my location, which I allowed them to do so did they wait for me to get there to just leave? Never one to get lemons and not make lemonade I did my own tour of Jack The Ripper’s Whitechapel. I’ve researched the case enough that I was able to recognize key landmarks like Christ Spitafields Church, The Ten Bells and the Spitafields market. The cherry on top of my tour of Whitechapel was the actual Jack The Ripper museum which was cheaper than this tour and hosts their own walking tours. It was always a dream of mine to do a Jack The Ripper tour in October during spooky season so this was one of the highlights of my trip. That is why I decided not to let these unprofessionals ruin my time. I do not blame Viator for this because this is the first time in years of booking tours through Viator that I have had this problem but I will be very reluctant to book again after this experience.
This was an awesome tour, Nick was a fantastic guide and storyteller! I didnt know much of A the history, but after this tour and seeing the location of the crimes and learning about the lives of the victims, Nick really trasports you back to 1888. IfYou want to see a different part of London and learn more about its notorious killer amd its victims, check this out.
To learn about this unsolved crime through the lives of the women was both sad and sobering. To think they brought on changes to White Chapel by there murders is equally astounding.
This was a great tour of Whitechaple and Lorena was a very nice guide. She told the story of Jack the Ripper and shared photos of what the people and area looked like back in the day. We were glad we took this tour.
Wear comfy shoes as its a good walk round London and obviously weather related clothing. The tour itself informative and well done and gives you a insight into London during that time which wasn't pretty. Sina was our tour guide and was v good

Loved being able to go to the scenes and actually seeing the buildings are still there since 1888.
Now the bad, Just wished there were better meet up directions (considering the church is no longer there) out of town people are looking for landmarks.
And I wished we would have finished the tour close to where we started or close to a tube station.

The walking pace was quite fast - if you're have any mobility issues this will be a little challenging. Otherwise the guide was fantastic and engaging, told the stories expertly and ensured everyone was entertained. Great job Arne!

Wonderful experience. Julia was a wonderful, kind , knowledgeable guide who went above and beyond helping us find our way back to our hotel after the Jack the Ripper tour.
This is basically a white Chapel tour. We would power walk from site to site and then stand around for 10-15 minutes why he talked some about jack the ripper or the women. Tour should have been just an hour with headsets so he could talk along the walk. Plus, most sites are gone, so it's just a tour around that part of town.
Great experience, incredibly knowledgeable guide, Nic and well worth the money.

The tour guide Julia was excellent, it was a large group and she did her best to make sure everyone was with her when moving on to the next location, and also giving time to show the content on her computer screen and explaining everything clearly and accurately, she had a warm personality. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.
We had amazing time and highly recommend you book with Sina. She was so informative and really made you feel immersed in the time of the murders. Definitely be ready to walk but it’s flat so not too hard. Again book with Sina, and read the guide so you can be interactive during the tour. Loved it highly recommend.
Told us more about the conditions at the time and the women that was killed instead of theories on who Jack the Ripper was
Our tour guide Gabby was extremely knowledgeable and took us to the sites where the murders occurred and even to streets that still represented what the neighborhood looked like in 1888. She gave us very good sense of what the victims’ lives were like and provided and a good deal of background about them. There is a lot of walking involved and because of the subject matter there are very gruesome details and photos included, so it’s not for the faint of heart. For anyone interested in these bizarre murders, this is a wonderful tour and I highly recommend her.
