Marius Was a good tour guide. He was friendly. Enjoyed the tour. He was a good character. Did few good jokes. It was a nice history tour. About the original towns folk of London. Enjoyed the tour and the company wh arranged the tour was very co- operation. Help me with messages and evening work well with me. Was overall delightful apart from a rocky start. really helpful the lead up to the preparation and furally enjoyed myself. Two of my party didn't arrive as they was to hot and we uncomfortable l. Leave my key ds at home just me and my friend went to the tour.

Marvin was excellent. Great storyteller with such detail and history. I would go again .. loved it. Nice paced walk and touring through London

Our story teller was very good. The event was advertised for 2.5 hours, but only lasted 1.5 hours. This included a tube ride from Green Park to Tower Hill. Once at Tower Hill, there was one story, and we were done. Although I think the Tower Hill story was rather good, that’s a long way to go for 1 story. Also, there is no boat ride, but you can get a voucher for a boat ride. In my opinion, this tour is not worth the money spent on it.

Murray was get, he knows more about haunted London than I do and I teach anthropology! There was a fascinating story about a butler and a Lord, getting murdered in a palace, I had never heard of!

We are from the US. Had a little difficulty finding the meeting spot and got there 2 minutes late. When we arrived, there was no tour in sight. I have been on other tours that have waited a few minutes for missing people. The only thing we could think of later on was that the tour group went into the train tunnel to begin the tour. But they literally had to have left at 7:00 on the dot. I do understand that we were 2 minutes late, but I would have thought there would be a 5 minute wait time. I had a pic time stamped for 6 mins past so we could prove we were there but when I called and texted the tour operator, there was no answer. They would not refund our money because they said that the tour went on as normal with 29 people but I don’t know how 29 people literally disappeared in 2 minutes. We even looked over a balcony looking over the meeting spot at 7:00 and saw no one there. Way to give people a break by waiting 5 mins!

A fun and entertaining experience. It’s a nice walk through St James Park and over to the tower. Glad we did it!

This is an ok tour
Marvin our guide had some great stories
I don’t think you can call this a ghost tour as it was still daylight and we did not go any where that there could possibly see any ghosts.
It was more like a walking tour with stories.
Not really suitable for small children under the age of 7/8 as there is a lot of walking and a train trip.
All areas where we stopped were outside and just stories of years many many years ago.

While we didn’t see a ghost, Arne did a great job keeping us informed and entertained! Definitely a fun couple of hours! Would definitely recommend this tour to those believe!

No ghosts but it was a fun little walking tour. It was nice to learn a bit of history while seeing parts of the city. Maury was great!

They no longer offer the cruise which we did not care about and knew going in . We loved Murray he had so much energy and was a great story teller. Highly recommend you walk through several park and see some of the path attractions.

My son and I really enjoyed the tour. Murray, the tour guide, was extremely informative and entertaining!
Blaise_M, Jul 2026
This tour did not include the river cruise as advertised, though the host was lovely, but if you're paying for the river cruise then don't bother. When trying to reach out to Viator for a partial refund (not even full) the response was disappointing, saying they were unable to refund any and did not give reasoning. This is false advertising as it's not indicated anywhere that you can add the cruise on when booking - it should be included as advertised, otherwise it is misleading and overall not worth the price.
The description of this tour needs to be amended asap

Murray was great. Bring water/drink with you. In this heat we had to drop out about halfway through when my wife got overheated—completely our own fault/lack of preparation. If we had the time we’d reschedule!

This was a fun and interesting experience - as someone who’s been to London a few times I was looking for something a bit off the beaten path. Our guide Murray was amazing. Extremely charismatic and a lovely story teller! He told some spooky and grim tales about the darker side of london’s history while also keeping the mood upbeat. Most of the tour takes place within walking distance to the starting point and you get to see some lovely landmarks along the way. The walking is not strenuous and he offers a toilet break about 30 mins into the tour (this is the only potential stop) for the last stop on the tour you hop on the tube and go to tower hill for a final tail. From there i just hopped right back on the tube to leave.
All in all our tour was about an hour, 45 mins.

Tom, our tour guide, was a great storyteller and was really able to mix London’s dark history, ghost stories and allegations of haunting which made it a fun time.

Got to see cool sites and hear great stories! Murray was energetic and knowledgeable! Funny guy and great !

There is no Thames cruise. We booked this tour to experience river cruise. Instead he brought us on the tube. Total waste of an evening. Vague stories with no substance it’s basic and boring. Overall it’s rubbish avoid.
Rebecca_G, Jul 2026
Our guide was very entertaining! I good story-teller is vital to a good ghost tour! The stories shared contained just the right amount of history, spookiness, and entertainment. I was there with my two sons (14 and 17) and we all enjoyed it. The tour we took included a boat ride on the Thames to the Tower of London. Waiting for the boat and the boat ride itself took up a lot of time that I wish had been filled with more stories about ghosts--it seemed like wasted time. But, overall, this was an excellent tour!

Lovely, funny thrilling storytelling with a historical context, amazing, likeable and witty amusing guide

We booked a tour with a boat ride but instead had to pay for a train (tube) ride and did not get a boat trip. The guide was good but the tour was disappointing.

This was a fun way to experience London and learn about the towns haunted past! Jack was a fantastic guide who clearly enjoys what he does!

Tour was interesting, the tour guide did a great job. Went with two adult kids and one teenage son, they were all very engaged.
Teresa_H, Jun 2026
Tom was a ton of fun and had great ghost stories! Along the way you hit amazing sites with Easter eggs of history that are very off the beaten path. The icing on the cake for our tour was that a London light drizzle during the unfortunate tale of Margaret Pole produced a rainbow over the Tower of London! (I’m sure ole Maggie was saying hey!!)
Hilary_W, Jun 2026
Jack was an amazing guide and storyteller. He had such good timing and I appreciated how he was able to get us away from the louder areas to some places I never would have ended up in on my own. He was such a pleasant guide and took the opportunity to chat or answer questions as we went from spot to spot. It is a walking tour with there really only being an opportunity to sit at the last stop so wear some comfortable shoes and be ready for a great time.

Absolutely loved this tour. We did it with a family of 5 and everyone really enjoyed it. Book it you won’t regret it
Virginia_G, Jun 2026
Tom shared quite a bit of London's darker history, while keeping the tour very kid friendly.
While the tour was good, I think people booking should know:
- There isn't a boat tour.
- Be prepared to use the tube, so have a travel card or credit card handy.
- Our tour included climbing stairs; we had a woman in our group with mobility issues and she had difficulty navigating them
- The end location was at Tower Hill.
- The tour ended just short of two hours.
