Itinerary
Your walking tour starts at the Southwark View Point, by Southwark Cathedral. There, meet your guide and group, and get sorted into your Hogwarts house.
Set off on foot, enjoying Harry Potter trivia quizzes from your guide along the way to earn points for your house. You also have the chance to use your spell knowledge to outwit members of other houses.
During your walking tour, pass by the London locations that inspired settings such as Diagon Alley, and visit filming locations, including the bridge that was destroyed in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
Follow in the footsteps of Deatheaters, visit the inspiration for Knockturn Alley, and see the location of the Ministry of Magic. You can even upgrade to add on a Thames River cruise.

Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and kind. He was helpful with regard to Harry Potter and normal London tips. We had a small group, but he was sure to keep us all together and talked to each of us about where we were from. There was a fun quiz and it was a great time.

Can’t really say how the actual tour ways. We had a lot of trouble finding the location- literally ran everywhere as we were on foot and a lot of roads were closed- made for a very stressful morning! Left 1.5 hours early to make it on time and still couldn’t find it. Tried to message the tour operator a couple of times but they never did answer. I understand that our poor sense of direction and rail/road closures aren’t the tour operators fault- but at least a reply to messages after the tour would have been nice.

Have fun walking about London and learning about all the places used to film the Harry Potter movies. You’ll never view the movies the same again as you’ll remember things from this tour. Murray the guide was fun and filled with information about the Wizarding world of Harry Potter. He pulled his tablet out at every stop to show us the scene in the movie that was filmed where we’re standing, and was able to discuss the similarities and differences between the books and the movies. We had quite the adventure, and I highly recommend this tour to kids and adults alike.

Cool and fun. You don’t have to be a Harry Potter fan to enjoy the tour. Louis made it interesting and enjoyable. I highly recommend this experience.

We wanted something a bit different than a normal walking tour which our teen can find a bit boring. We all enjoyed reading and watching the Harry Potter series when she was a kid so decided to try this tour. It was a fun and interesting tour of London. We saw parts of the city we wouldn’t have found on our own. Our guide Nic was funny and easy going. We were running late for the tour (by about 10 min) so I called the number provided and was provided the next location to go to catch up up with the group which was greatly appreciated!!

It was such a fun and entertaining walk through some of the filming locales for various HP movies. I had a great time with the trivia, being sorted into houses, walking on the bridge and soaking in the city.

Myself and my 10year old daughter went on this Harry Potter tour in London.
We really enjoyed it, the tour guide was friendly and had lots of knowledge about London in general which he shared with us along the way.
There was a friendly Harry Potter competition during the tour to keep things fun too.

The Harry Potter Filming Locations Tour in London was an absolute treat — magical from start to finish! Our guide, Nic, brought the wizarding world to life with fascinating behind-the-scenes stories and fun facts about the films and the city itself. He also made sure we were all sorted into one of the four Hogwarts Houses before the tour began. Once we were sorted, a Harry Potter quiz began in an effort to win an invisible House Cup. As we wandered through spots that inspired Diagon Alley, the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron, and the Ministry of Magic, it felt like stepping straight into the movies.
One of the highlights was the boat ride along the River Thames. We sailed past iconic London landmarks featured in films set in the Harry Potter wizarding world, making the experience even more special. It was the perfect mix of sightseeing and movie magic.
Whether you’re a lifelong Potter fan or just curious about London’s cinematic side, this tour is a must-do with Nic. As a guide, Nic is well-organized, entertaining, and full of little surprises that make you fall in love with the city — and the story — all over again.

Comfy shoes for sure but the boat tour certainly is worth adding on as it’s a lovely little break and a scenic way to get across the city - great to see the locations and the tour guide had an iPad with scenes from the movie to help bring it to life

It was a very nice city tour with a great guide. Eva was extremely solar and seemed truly passionate. The tour was made during the evening yet we were able to see everything! She was funny, informative and really helpful for some recommendations around the end. The questions were given at relevant time and not just thrown as a test right in the middle, thus, you can easily search in your memory for the right answer.

This was a fantastic experience in every way! Our tour guide, Arne, was absolutely wonderful! He was charming, knowledgeable and personable, totally engaging and interesting throughout the entire tour. His trivia questions were great fun, his information and presentation top notch, and the places we visited were all relevant to Harry Potter. We absolutely LOVED it and would recommend this tour - especially with Arne - to anyone! It truly made our trip special and memorable!
