Fascinating Jack the Ripper Tour with an Excellent Guide!

We had a fantastic experience on the Jack the Ripper tour with Daniel! He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and easy to talk to throughout the entire tour. He gave us the known facts of the case, explained the many different theories about who Jack the Ripper may have been, and also shared the evidence that has helped disprove some of those theories. He answered all of our questions and added interesting details about the history of the city! Our group ended up being the only people on the tour, which made it a private tour and gave us plenty of time to talk with Daniel and ask questions. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and we would highly recommend Daniel and this tour to anyone interested in the history of Jack the Ripper!

Fun use of a Sunday night!

Very fun! I have done multiple walking tours and I have to say, this was a great mix of history and murder! I felt like every stop I would’ve walked past on my own had some backstory waiting to be unlocked in plain sight! Cathy our tour guide was amazing and you can tell she has a passion for teaching and English history. She was super receptive to questions. I’ve been on ghost tours where it feels more “theatrical” than educational, and I’m pleased to say this was not the case for this tour. Don’t get me wrong, she made sure to crack some jokes and projected her voice well, but it was well-aligned with the stories. I would certainly do this again.

This was a great tour! We had two kids (11 and 14) who enjoyed it and it kept their attention. The guide was so good at keeping everyone engaged with a mix of history and stories. We would suggest this tour for anyone who likes hearing all the gruesome details!

Nick was a great guide! Book this if you want a fact-filled experience along with some charm and humour along the way. I'd highly recommend this especially if you're more interested in the historical aspects of the Jack the Ripper events rather than theatrics. Highly recommend this tour!

A perfect evening activity

We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Jack the Ripper walking tour - easily one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Tyson, was exceptional. He managed to bring the chilling history of the events to life in a way that was both deeply engaging and surprisingly entertaining. It’s not an easy balance to strike given the dark subject matter, but Tyson did it brilliantly - mixing well-researched facts with just the right touch of humor to keep the group captivated throughout. If you’re considering a Jack the Ripper tour, I can’t recommend this one - and Tyson as your guide - highly enough. Informative, atmospheric, and genuinely enjoyable.

Greg was fantastic! On time, friendly and so very knowledgeable! He not only knew everything about the tour route... he also knew about the random things we asked about! Fantastic!

This is a great tour in the heart of Krayland, and focuses on their life and activities in the Whitechapel/Bethnal Green area. It starts in the famous Blind Beggar pub which is a nice touch. It then goes outside the pub for a long talk ( I did feel this could be shrunk a bit) and then encompasses a walk around the area, including Vallance Road and other key places that featured in The Krays life. It ends in Shoreditch, about a half an hour walk from the starting point so check you know how to get back from there. Vas Blackwood is an engaging, funny and incredibly informative guide. I read some other reviews that complained of too much swearing. This is gangster London, if you don't like swearing then go on the Harry Potter tour! Vas was constantly interupted by passers by, as he is a known face, and one guy completely hijacked one point, during which I ha to take a few photos of him and Vas. But, Vas deals with it professionally and kindly, acknowledging the person but swiftly moving them on. He is a great guy and although the booking says 2 hours it was in fact 3 in the end. Loved it, thank you Vas!
