If you are getting married in Las Vegas, you will need a marriage license issued by the state of Nevada.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, not nearer of kin than 2nd cousins or cousins of half-blood, and not have a living spouse. Applicants may be required to prove their age. Social Security Numbers are required on the Affidavit of Application.

After your ceremony, you will take home a keepsake marriage certificate. This copy is more of a souvenir copy. The official marriage certificate is ordered through the Clark County Recorder's Office and can be done online.
