Itinerary

Your day starts with pickup from your Las Vegas Strip hotel. With just your guide and a small group for company, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park.

Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the vivid colors of the desert, and spot natural wonders such as Rainbow Vista and Atlatl Rock. Get an up-close look at ancient petroglyphs and remarkable red sandstone formations.

Throughout your tour, the 4WD vehicle takes you along the Mojave Desert’s less-traveled roads. Enjoy the hidden splendors and unique views of the Mojave while learning about the desert’s ancient Native American cultures.

Lunch is included, so please make a sandwich selection in the Special Requirements field at the time of booking.

After half a day out, relax and unwind on the transfer back to your hotel, where this tour concludes.

The tour of the Valley of Fire was an excellent adventure. Our tour guide was so very knowledgeable. She knew the names of the rock formations and their approximate ages. She also knew about the plants and animals in the area. This tour was fun and informative. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

Perfect Half-Day Tour, with Views You’ll Never Forget

I absolutely loved this tour! The only thing I would change is that I wish it had lasted even longer. For anyone with just half a day to spare, it’s the perfect option. But if you’re a nature lover and have more time, I’d definitely recommend choosing one of the longer tours. The landscapes were truly breathtaking, unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and our guide, Edward, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. An unforgettable experience!

If you are a wussbag about heat like I am, this is the tour for you. The AC was pumping like a champ the whole time. Carol was our guide/driver and she was fantastic. She was always scanning for wildlife sightings (we saw a tortoise, bighorn sheep, ground squirrels, a whiptail lizard and a chuckwallah lizard (sorta). The scenery was amazing! The lunch provided was delicious (Capriotti's subs, iykyk). And when I started to feel pretty icky from the heat, Carol had everything necessary on hand to help me recover quickly and get on with our vacation.

This was an amazing experience thanks to our kind guide Brian from Pink Adventure Tours. He was very knowledgeable about history and the park making this experience memorable. On another note, I bought my ticket through Viator and the pickup time wasn’t specified on the ticket nor the receipt. I almost missed my trip. The staff of Pink Adventure Tours (Angela and Brian) made it possible. I’m very grateful for that. Just something to consider next time.

A little overdue due to my slowness with getting reviews done, we had our tours Nov 2023. Zachary Stice was a phenomenal guide! Our group had a vast age range along with the other group with English as a second language which he handled superbly and made sure everyone’s needs were more than met. We loved the in depth ecology, plant and animal history/facts, along with potential other sites to visit. My family felt like the amount of time in each location was well planned out. He was an efficient, kind, passionate, professional, patient, understanding, easygoing, wonderful human that gave an excellent tour! I can’t recommend him as a tour guide or the company highly enough—we thoroughly enjoyed this tour and the other pink jeep tour to Death Valley. Only side note is we would have loved another option than salad for gf/df option as mine was wilted/a bit past both days but my moms was fine one day and wilted on the next days tour. Overall great touring experience and we can’t wait to use pink jeep tours again; and potentially have Zach as a tour guide too!

The best part of the tour was seeing the different rock formations and seeing the bighorn sheep. Our tour guide was very good and knowledgeable about the area and told many interesting stories. The tour had short hikes which was excellent because it was a hot day. Lunch provided was more than adequate.

Customized small group experience with helpful guide

I chose this tour because I wanted to get out and see the best sights in the park without committing to a long hike. This tour offered exactly what I hoped- several stops with between 15-30 minutes of time to wander on our own at each stop. Charles provided interesting information and adjusted the tour to ensure we were all able to enjoy as much as possible, given varying levels of physical ability within our group. I'm really glad I picked a small group tour- much easier loading and unloading the vehicle at each stop. The lunch provided was good, we had sufficient breaks for bathroom use, and there was plenty of water to ensure we stayed hydrated. I would definitely take a Pink Jeep tour again, and would be happy to take more tours led by Charles!

This is our 2nd tour with Pink Jeep Tours. Our first one was in Sedona, AZ, which we thoroughly enjoyed and was quite memorable. So even though the Valley of Fire tour was priced at a premium compared to its competitors, we decided on signing with Pink Jeep because of our prior experience and expected the same level of service. We were not disappointed by with our latest experience with them. They were well-organized even before the day of the tour when we were reminded about time and place of pickup, and what our preferences were for the lunch that was included in the package. Our tour guide, John, was very knowledgeable about the different sights inside the park and also shared tidbits of information about the history of the city of Las Vegas and the Mojave Desert. He also shared some if his own personal travel experiences which made it more personal and have us more suggestions if we were to return to the park to spend more time hiking the trails within. He took really good care of us.

My friends and I had a great trip hosted by Charles. He had so many great stories about the history of Las Vegas and was incredibly knowledgeable about the Valley of Fire down to the geology, best photo spots, and additional areas of petroglyphs that the crowds weren’t at. He’s a skilled photographer and was always there ready to take a good photo! We were excited for the tour but honestly enjoyed the tour so much more than I thought we would! It was a great experience and Charles was the best!

I will recommend this day tour in this nice rock park that most of the people skip, has nice red color rocks and is jus 1 hour away from Vegas! The tour is very well organized, competent guide, lunch included, only thing I didn't like is the wan, is very dark inside and you don't have good visibility.....
