Brian was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the park and especially about many unique and unusual aspects about the history of the park and the whole area. He was cheerful, accommodating, but very professional. Would highly recommend both Brian and this tour very much. Death Valley is a must see park if you are in the area.

Had a wonderful time and visited all the major scenic highlights of Death Valley. Our experience was greatly enhanced by our guide Bull who provided snacks and water throughout the trip, took photos and provided a lot of interesting information. In addition to being a great guide, he was an excellent driver. I would highly recommend this trip as a taster to Death Valley which could be done again at a more leisurely pace over a few days, if you wish.

Got to see all the great sites in Death Valley. We got picked up right at our hotel around 7 and were back by 6:30, so plenty of time to still have dinner in Vegas.

Momo was the best!!

Absolutely one of the best. Our guide Momo was exceptional, knowledgeable, friendly and concerned for her passengers. I’d take every tour with her.

Fantastic day tour to Death Valley

Chad was very efficient in running tour. We saw all of the highlights in a 12 hour day. There were plenty of drinks and snacks. We were not rushed at the sights and had time to take pictures/walk around. I highly recommend this tour as I didn’t have to navigate and find parking in Death Valley. Thank you to Max Tours!

Great Tour

Small group tour of Death Valley

We only had four people on our tour. Chad took extra time with us and took pictures of us so we could get pictures together. He was truly amazing.

It was a good day trip with a very knowledgeable tour guide. The stops were interesting and our guide narrated each stop and gave us time to explore.

Excellent!

This was a great tour. It's a long day, but worth it. Be prepared for approximately a 2 hour car trip back and forth. Some passengers took naps, but if possible, stay awake because the view is breath taking.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!

All I can say is awesome views, Awesome tour guide, and overall awesome tour. After all the guests were picked up in Vegas on the way to the park, we stopped for a quick breakfast then it was on our way to Death Valley. We first stopped in Furnace Creek at the visitors center and then to Badwater Basin salt flats at 282 ft. below sea level. We then stopped at Devels Golf Course followed by Artists Palette for the colorful hills. We stopped for lunch at the Ranch. After lunch, we went to Zabriskie Point. The last stop was at Dantes View at 5482 ft. above sea level for a breathtaking view of a good portion of the valley. We headed back after that. Our tour guide, Jonny Tower, was absolutely awesome with a great amount of knowledge of the park, but also it's history. I highly recommend Max Tour and Jonny.

Death Valley must do!

Emma_J, Jun 2025
One of the best tours I have ever been on. So well organised and fit so much into one day. Tour guide Morgan, could not have done anymore for us. She was fantastic and a true asset to the company. A trip of a life time to remember for ever.

Amazing day!

It was a fantastic tour!! Our stops throughout the day in Death Valley were so scenic and interesting. Our guide kept us stocked up on waters and snacks. He made sure everyone was keeping hydrated. It was a long day, but so worth experiencing Death Valley.

Majestic place….. Death Valley

Clarissa_G, May 2025
Death Valley tour experience is worth it. There were only 5 of us in the van which was perfect. We sat comfortably. No expectations about Death Valley but it was amazing! Our tour guide Orlin was great. Great music in the van from Bruce Springsteen to Prince, it was a delight to listen to the music during the ride. He also had great trivia about the filming of Star Wars in Death Valley. The sequence of sites that we visited was perfect. We begun at the lowest point in Death Valley (Badwater Basin) to the different colors of the rock at Artiste palate, to the magnificent rock formation at Zabrieski’s view and to end at the highest peak (Dante’s view) where you can see how vast this place. This tour is highly recommended. It’s hard to fully describe the magnificence of this park, you have to see it for yourself.

Death Valley is One-of-a-kind

MaryGrace_L, May 2025
Death Valley National Park is a must-see. The landscape is a one-of-a-kind experience. It is a long drive from LV. But in our opinion it’s worth the drive. The van was clean and comfortable. Snacks and drinks were provided throughout the whole trip. Strategic stops were planned along the way for bathroom and food stops. Our driver and guide, Orlin, was knowledgeable and engaging. And his driving made us feel safe. We recommend this tour!

Valley of Beauty

Violeta_D, Apr 2025
Me and my husband highly recommended this tour. Death Valley is beautiful. Nature is amazing. It creates a mountains, water into a wonderful thing for people to love and protect the environment. MaxTour is on time and our driver/tour guide, Orlin, is a nice guide. He drives safely and always offers something to drink and eat (chips, energy bars or fruits. Thank you MaxTour, thank you Viator and thank you Orlin.

The tour was scheduled...

Deb_W, Mar 2025
The tour was scheduled for pickup at 7 am. The email on the day before the trip said 10:30 am pickup. My E-ticket still stated 7 am so I emailed to make sure this was a legitimate change and not a standard email with the wrong time. The email never emphasized this was a changed pickup time. I sent an email at 2:30 pm and no response came back. We were at the pickup place at 7 am and finally found a number to call to find out 10:30 was correct. We had 3.5 hours to kill. Breakfast was listed as included but only chips were offered plus water. No box lunch in place of breakfast was provided and no dinner stop happened either. We had lunch at the Oasis on our dime which was very busy and therefore very slow and told, as an option, to buy something for dinner at the General Store. The tour director gave some information but more was desired. However music was played the whole time in the SUV which was annoying to say the least. The park was very interesting but of course not much was able to be viewed due to time constraints. The sunset at Dante's View was great. However, the steep climb to the view caused the SUV to overheat and it needed to sit for 30 minutes to cool off before traveling further. The engine light was on all the way back to Vegas.

Death Valley is a must see!

Marie_B, Nov 2024
We took this small group tour of Death Valley, and were so glad we did. We had no idea Death Valley was as beautiful and magical as it is. Seriously thought we were going to see a pile of rocks! Death Valley has so many interesting areas to see: Salt Flats at Badwater Basin, the many colors of rock at Artist's Palette, golden colored badlands from Zabriskie Point, and expansive view at Dante's View. Just a stunning, gorgeous place! Our tour guide and driver Jonny was incredibly kind, informative, and had the best taste in music. We got to hear all the classics on the 12 hour tour. We recommend this tour whole heartedly!
