Very beautiful trip. If you are able to make sure you take advantage of the hiking trail/climbing to get some breathtaking views. We were the only two that had booked this trip so our travel guide showed up in a car to get us which was a little off but worked out great as we had our own personal travel guide.

Great history of movies shot here. Got to see large group of goats sunning. Can be pretty physical if your going to hike some but plenty to see and enjoy even if you dont.

The place is beautiful. It is definitely a natural beauty. The rock formations are unmatched by far. Wish guide would have been more conversant. Not the typical tour guide commentary about the area. I like the fact that we were not rushed thru each stop.He took us to his favorite spot. Tour guide was willing to assist with picture taking.

Driver circled back to assure we saw the group of big horned sheep and take photos.
The brand new visitor center was impressive, with movie of area history and dinosaur exhibits.

Don’t go with this agency!!! I arrived the pickup point 10min before the meeting time and waited there for half an hours and no one showed up. Then I called the agency and they told me the drive already left. But I didn’t see any car with the agency name, no one contacted me (though they said the drive WILL CONTACT when he arrives), no one called my name or said anything like “valley of fire”. Most terrible experience I had with day tour, totally ruined my day and plan. And when I called the agency they showed no care for customers. DO NOT go with them!

You will see several areas in a park of spectacular rock formations, and a set of petroglyphs. If you go during the hot half of the year, as I did, you will not be able to hike as the trails are closed. A tour in the part of the year when the trails are open would be better.

For us it worked perfectly it wasn't too long it wasn't too short we were able to get in and out of our vehicle at any time, we weren't rushed, Robert was very informative and I loved the small group.

Being stuck here in Vegas for several months I e decided to start enjoying my time here on a better level. I do a tour each week. This week I did Valley of fire. I loved everything about this tour.
Max was a man of few words which I loved. To quietly be able to enjoy nature is just what I wanted.
The price was great but if you want a tour guide feeding you all kinds of information this is not the tour for you. If you want to see a beautiful place at a good price giddy up!

This is a great tour, the morning starts off by the tour company picking you up at one of their casino locations off the strip. I would recommend staying away from Excalibur if you are taking your own car because they charge way too much for parking. Self parking at the MGM was $20 bucks. The tour was great got to see many sites at the valley of fire and I also got to hike a little at one of their casino locations stops. There is not too much hiking here at all so if you’re looking for a hiking tour, this one is not it. I strongly recommend this tour for everyone. The tour guide robert was great.

The tour operator was very rude to me via email when I expressed frustration that by 8:20pm the night before the event we had had zero communication about what time the morning pickup would be, exactly where we would meet the van, whether they provided water. By 8:30pm we did get an email telling us of the pickup time and place, but then I also got an email telling me “we have 3 tours tomorrow, 30 people, and you’re the only one complaining.” It was a complaint to try to find out what time we would get picked up 12 hours before the tour? Didn’t exactly start the experience off with a warm and fuzzy feeling. Then, the morning of the event, Our tour guide picked us up and then immediately said “The drive will take an hour and maybe 15 minutes and you cannot talk to me for the entirety of the drive.” While I appreciated that he needed to keep his eyes and focus on the road, he could have spent 5 minutes before the drive started explaining what would happen during the day, what we could expect, etc. The tour description didn't make it clear if we would be hiking or just stopping for photos or where we might stop, etc. And during the drive we didn't get the typical tour driver commentary about the history of the area or fun facts about the area - the things a tour guide normally provides. The park was beautiful, we definitely stopped at some very picturesque places and it was great not to have to do the drive ourselves. And our tour guide did help all of us get some very good photos. But more communication, a little politeness and a bit more information from the tour guide could have made the experience ten times better. In the future, I would still explore tours like this but I would go out of my way not to use this tour operator. I don't need to spend my money to be scolded and shamed just for asking a question they should have already answered.

I will do this trip again. Valley of Fire is just standing. Robert picked the most beautiful stops for us to explore and we had ample time to hike and climb. Teenagers rated this trip as their best trip in Vegas, and they are generally ambivalent to this type of things.
