Frequently Asked Questions (10)
Q:What is there to see at Lower Antelope Canyon?
A:Lower Antelope Canyon is narrower and is nicknamed Corkscrew Canyon due to the steep, narrow stairs used for access. It is mostly V-shaped, with some A-shaped and parallel canyon walls. There is great lighting all day and year-round.

This tour with Lankun Aka Mama was incredible! She was super kind, organized, and always checking in on us. Before the tour, she sent us helpful info, videos, and links — and during the tour, she took amazing photos, edited them right away, and shared everything with us by the end.
She gave great tips, shared lots of fun facts, and made sure we were always comfortable. The tour included drinks, lunch, and lots of thoughtful touches. She speaks both English and Chinese and really made the whole experience special.
Highly recommend booking with Mama — thank you for such a beautiful day! 💛

The Lower Antelope is something out of this world, truly amazing, just as the Horseshoe Bend. The Lake Powell stop wasn't that great.
Good to have Starlink in the van! Our driver Zu vas very cool as well.

Chinese tour guide who was of very few words but was friendly. Chinese music the whole time on the bus was torture. He was an erratic driver that kept swerving while driving. I couldn’t tell if he was falling asleep, him texting and driving, or just a bad driver. It’s was ultra scary and so unsafe! Once at Antelope and horseshoe bend it was great. The ban was very snug with minimal room and the lunch was a 6” subway sandwich. Plenty of waters and a granola bar for breakfast.

It is a long car ride but the views are beautiful, and the visit to the Antilope is worth it, it is spectacular, the Van wad very comfortable and clean, lunch is a subway sandwich, I recommend bringing some breakfast because there were no good options at Gas Station. We were charged $15 per person for a service fee that we did not have stipulated and is an additional $60. We had planned to give tips, but not 60$. I generally recommend it. My children are 16 and 11 years old and they love it.

Wanting to visit Antelope Canyon was a plan years in the making. We chose the option where a bus picked us up from a Las Vegas hotel.
We opted to be picked up at Excalibur which is the first stop. This meant we were the first ones in the van and were able to choose our seats. We were a group of seven out of the 15 people in our mini tour group. Yang was our guide.
Booking on Viator was easy. This particular booking was nonrefundable yet they could cancel it if it was not filled. Not all options on Viator are like that so read the fine print. Yang contacted us via text days prior to coordinate. Meeting place was convenient. The route was well planned.
Lower Antelope Canyon is a lot of stairs and narrow pathways. It was challenging and exciting. Considering it was the 24th of December, we were surprised that there were a lot of people and did not realize that there is not much time given to take photos. Just the same, every single photo comes out so beautifully because of the landscape. It doesn’t really matter where you take the photos.
Our tour came with a stop at Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell.

Lunch was provided, an extra special touch was added and the tour guide was great! I was nervous about not being able to stop and stretch my legs but the trip was broken up into 2 hours and my guide Z answered all my questions, the sites were beautiful and the quality of service was top tier!

It was a great experience. I got to see Lake Powell, Horseshoe bend and Lower Antelope Canyon. The Guide and Driver, Yang was pretty friendly and he sent the detailed itinerary a day before the pick up. If you are doing a day trip from Vegas, this is a really good tour. Lunch and unlimited water are provided.

Amazing guide. Never had such a caring guide who goes out if her as much as her. The van seats could use some comfort.

All praise for our guide Lankun!
She was incredibly dedicated from the very beginning to the very end of our long tour. Her driving skills were outstanding, and we felt completely safe throughout the entire trip. Lankun was thoughtful of each traveler’s needs and shared useful information during every part of the journey.
We had just the right amount of time at each stop, thanks to the perfectly planned and well-organized schedule. We didn’t have to wait in a single line—all because of her!
She even made two extra photo stops, and at one of them, she personally took individual pictures of every person in the group. The photos turned out beautiful.
Lankun truly went above and beyond. Highly recommended!

We’ve had multiple tours on our trip here in Las Vegas and this was by far the best. We rode with Lankun and she was attentive, informative, friendly, and super hardworking. She went far beyond just giving us a bland tour. She made some extra photo stops and took professional grade pictures of everyone in group (photos are attached). And she gave us great tips and tricks for our future tours. Overall the experience was amazing and felt adventurous.

Lower antelope canyon was amazing and made all the more enjoyable by the local Navajo guide. Lake Powel was also beautiful - unfortunately Horseshoe bend was closed so we couldn’t visit. A long day but worth it.

The 1:30 tour was very enjoyable. And would recommend Ken’s Tours. I would not, however, recommend going thru Viator.. I paid twice as much as I could have gotten the same tour if I had bought tickets directly from Ken’s and Viator said that they could not do anything.
The canyon though is FANTASTIC!
Randall_C, Oct 2023
Very convenient to Page, AZ. Don't have to ride in the back of a truck or shuttle like upper Antelope. Guide was great, even taught us how to take better pictures with our phones.
Highly recommend Ken's Tours.
