We were looking for a private escape from Vegas for a few hours and this was perfect. Darren was on time and extremely knowledgeable about the tour stops and food and local plants. It was fun and interesting and we didn’t feel rushed at all.

Darren was our driver. He was punctual in his arrival at our hotel for pick-up. He also reached out the day before and day of the trip to keep us informed of his arrival. Darren was very knowledgeable about the Hoover Dam, Boulder City and Lake Mead. We stopped at a local park to try to witness big horn sheep and then were off to the Dam. Darren provided info about the Dam and then gave us space to do our own exploring before meeting up and continuing the tour. I highly recommend this experience!

Our guide/driver Darren was very knowledgeable about the dam, area and wildlife. We traveled in his personal vehicle which was clean. Darren had snacks and water available for free and had ponchos as it was raining, which rarely happens in LV.

It was very good. Our driver, Darren, was knowledgeable and sociable. He was especially helpful with timing when we had a Snafu with another event that ran long.
We were able to drive across the dam and walk on the bridge above it that had great views. We saw big horn sheep up close at a public park.

I thought we had booked a tour to the Hoover Dam. Instead we basically had an uber driver in a car with an unpleasant odor. We had just completed a Gate One tour with an outstanding guide, so to go from that experience to this was at best a disappointment. I am not planning to use Viator again. This is my second bad experience. Shame on me.

Darren was a great host and tour guide. The information he knew was amazing and informative. We were the only couple on the tour and he talked non-stop our entire ride. He took photos of us and gave us the proper amount of time to enjoy the views from different vantage points. Great time and worth the money.

Great trip with a knowledgeable guide. We had a private tour for 3 people. The guide bought water and snacks for us. There was a spot where we had a climb up either stairs or ramp which my 82 year old mum managed and the guide gave us alternatives to see a similar view. It was just lovely to get out of Vegas for a few hours as well!

Darren, our driver, made this trip memorable. He shared a wealth of information about the building of Hoover Dam and the O’Callaghan-Tillman Memorial Bridge. He made the trip very interesting, and also shared information about trees, plants, and wildlife we encountered along the way. Definitely worth the price!

Our description does not say we tour the inside of the dam. We state the Visitor Center Tour and Power Plant Tour are not included under the "What's not included" section. And our itinerary does not list going inside the dam, and so, we are sorry if there was confusion in the description about what would and would not be included. For better clarification, we have reached out to Tripadvisor/Viator and asked them to change the way they display tour information to customers for better understanding. Of course, you can always send an email or text if you are unsure if the tour includes an inside visit. Thank you again for your review and for booking with us.

Came to LV for a conference and only had the afternoon to see the Hoover Dam. Darin was friendly and knowledgeable, keeping the drive interesting and bringing us to sites where we could get good views/pics. Comfortable ride as well.

This tour is really fun! The highlights were the big horn sheep in Boulder City, walking across the Mike O'Callghan - Patrick Tillman Memorial Bridge and the spectacular views at the lookouts over the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Darren is a great tour guide. He is very engaged and knowledgeable.

The sheer scope of the views that make up the dam, Lake Mead and surrounds. A human marvel on the scale of the Apollo moon landing.
A big shout out also to Darren, our remarkably knowledgeable Las Vegas D-Tours guide. He made the landscape come alive with modern and geological history.

Darrin picked us up right on time. We visited the Pat Tillman/Mike O’Callahan bridge, which is amazing in terms of both architecture and beauty. Walked to the marker and had one foot in Nevada, the other in Arizona. Visited Boulder City, the dam and had a stop at a lovely gift shop, as well as stops at scenic overlooks.Darrin was an encyclopedia of information… he obviously enjoys his job. We were not rushed at any time during the tour. Would definitely recommend!
