    It was canceled by Ole Tyme Carriage Rides of Gettysburg and I was still charged. When I requested a refund no one responded

    The excursion had potential. But the guide was not very versed in history, and the itinerary was not consistent with what we booked. He changed the route to a different part of the battlefield, but did not notified us in advance or explained why. He was personable and on time, but the lack of communication and his lack of basic knowledge had a negative impact on the experience.

    We had the most wonderful ride. our driver was prompt and very gracious. he was very knowledgeable about the town and the battle. we would highly recommend this tour.

    I couldn't get on buggy. Parked waited until 10:35 a man called told us to walk a half a mile to meet him. I'm slightly handicapped I told him. Didn't matter. We got there and needed to climb up with no stool. There were supposed to be 2 pickup spots but he decided there weren't. He was nice enough but in a hurry because we were late because he didn't pick us up where the ad said he would. We paid to park, and waited . I suggested he pull next to where we parked but he said he couldn't. We were not pleased.

    Beautiful horse and horsemanship with a knowledgeable guide, a perfect pace and route. We were fortunate to schedule this ride with this lovely carriage. Our guide understood the battle and was able to point out vantage points without bias.
