It was educational and fun. The guide was very interesting, and skipping the lines was just great. I also didnt realize we woukd get to go the the musem next door, another super interesting musem.

This tour was nicely executed. We did however have a very hard time finding the meet up point. This could have been our fault, so that is not why I gave 4 our 5 stars. I just thought it was extremely quick. It started and before we knew it, it was over. Took make 35 minutes or so. Which for some may be just what you are looking for. It just kind of felt rushed to me. But in the end it was worth it and the Duomo was beautiful!

Great that we didn't have to stand in the long queues under the heat as this package is a fast track into the church. Good tour guide who provided great info on the history of the church. The climb was a bit steep and exhausting as it was so hot but the view at the top is worth it! Overall a good experience except for the rude security staff which is to be expected in Italy!!

Everything about the tour, and guide, were phenomenal! The only note I’d make is that the down climb requires a surprising level of physical activity, and if you are easy to feel claustrophobic, I would not recommend the dome climb.

An excellent, short tour of the cathedral. Packed with information and we saved over an hour skipping the line. We walked straight in through a side entrance.

It was really rather dull I’m afraid. We wouldn’t recommend this tour and definitely not for children or teenagers. Whilst it was a 30min tour it failed to hold any of our attention - it missed the key details you would expect - why it was built, the period and historical context and any detail regarding the external architecture of the cathedral (which is far more impressive than the inside). The guide’s accent was very strong so her English was difficult to understand and broken in places. The headset was also not easy to hear with - all in all a disappointing experience and not worth the money. We’d recommend buying skip the queue tickets and read a webpage while inside - you’d pick up the key details without the boredom.

It’s ok. They really got us into the cathedral on time and without a line. Tour lasted about 15-20 min tops, was a bit hard to understand, and even harder to grasp what makes the place so unbelievably amazing. The place is amazing - fascinating facts we did manage to get with ChatGPT once the guide left.

Overall, the Tour guy was very knowledgeable about everything with regards to the chapel. It felt a little rushed and at the end she goes OK I have to get to my next tour right at the 30 minute Mark and just left. Overall, it was worth it for the skip the line pass as the lines are pretty extensive in the last an hour hour and a half to two hours.

Our tour guide Jean Carlo made this the best trip EVER!!! He was so fun and entertaining. There was not one moment where I was disappointed in this trip, and I was able to find some of my new favorite places. But Jean Carlo truly tied the trip together.

Informative and efficient tour of Duomo. Fantastic to skip line. For ladies, you cannot have bare shoulders or shorts above the knee, or if you do, you need to have a scarf to cover.

TERRIBLE. We arrived 20 minutes early as requested but we were told that we had to wear clothing that covered our knees, which was not mentioned anywhere on the tour description. Mind you, it was nearly 100 degree weather, they asked us buy "anything" to cover the knees but tryijg to find anything in the heat during the summer rush with a time limit is very inconvenient. What I didnt understand, more than half the people waiting in line to get inside had shorts, which is understandable considering how hot it was. My wife has a heart condition, so we couldnt move fast enough to return to our accommodation to change our clothing. Viator said we cant rebook and isnt refunding and the tour manager is refusing to refund despite not mentioning the need to cover knees. Definitely disappointed in Viator, considering we use that company regularly for our sight seeing needs. Im sure the tour conpany are all nice people, but refusing to refund is no different than someone robbing me at gun point, the only difference is the lack or threat of fear being used as a weapon. Anyhow, if you decide to take this tour, make sure you cover your knees.

The Duomo area is a crowded mess- I communicated with the guide to find the group - this was a real plus!. But the tech equipment was not working properly As we entered the area (easily and on time) the equipment faltered- was very spotty- we couldn't hear complete sentences!,. No idea what information we missed (this was true for the whole group) I think there was too much information about the art in the cathedral but I can't be sure - We left after we saw the dome itself. BY THE WAY, the outside of the building is beautiful and probably has an interesting history too.

This was a great tour! Lots of information. About the history of the duomo…we hit to climb the stairs up to the top! Also the ticket was good for 3 days to go to the baptistery, the bell tower and the museum! No time constraints!

A helpful orientation tour. Without the dome option, you are basically paying to skip the massive line outside — worthwhile in summer, since the Duomo di Firenze itself is free to enter.
The guide does a great job explaining the interior, particularly the Last Judgment fresco painted inside Brunelleschi’s Dome.
Note that this non-dome tour does not include the crypt, baptistery, etc.
We recommend booking directly through the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, as you get more for your money.

The church was beautiful, and we enjoyed the tour very much. If you choose to climb the dome, then you must be prepared for a very steep climb.!

amazing. got to skip the line and get a private tour of the inside of the church. then uou climb to the first level of the dome to see the painted ceilings. then continue on to the top of the dome. It’s quite a feat but absolutely worth it.
