Absolutely a disaster when it comes to coordinating the access to tickets and the line. Don’t waste your money with Viator as you will wait twice as long!

We were to meet at 8:00 to pick up our tickets for 8:15 entry. Plenty of other groups were nearby getting their tickets and lots of people were getting in the growing line to purchase tickets. We had arrived about 15 minutes early to be sure we found the right spot. Finally at 8:00 on the dot the guy shows up. We did get in at 8:15 and were able to be one of the first in for the day! It’s definitely worth getting up a little early and getting an early ticket to avoid the crowds. We were almost by ourselves for the first 1/2 hour. It was getting pretty crowded by the time we left and lines outside were quite long.

Directions to meet for tickets wasn’t very clear. We did happen to find the Viator contact person. It didn’t feel like a skip the line experience but I guess we did get in sooner than without it. Seemed over priced comparing the cost of the ticket either way what we paid. A QR code audio guide didn’t line u very well with the rooms like a numbered audio guide would have. The David is an awesome sculpture everyone should see but with how crowded it was the experience left much to be desired. There didn’t seem to be any real limitations on numbers of people let in.

If you're in Florence, you cannot miss the Galleria del Accademia. Not only does it house Michaelangelo's remarkable David, but so many other beautiful works of art. You can spend hours there, but viewing the David is the most amazing thing. There are always crowds of People around the David, but you can get close up if you try hard! Don't miss this amazing museum ... it's a must see!

Skip the line was not really any different than the line. Did not get any special treatment.
The Michael Angelo works were more than just amazing they were mind blowing.
There were other things that I found interesting that included musical instruments and mold casting.

Viator should be able to provide a usable ticket. Waiting outside for an agent was a totally unnecessary step. It was cold and we could have entered early but had to wait outside for agent who was late. A very expensive and inconvenient option.

The Accademia Gallery was extraordinary, and seeing Michelangelo's David in person was a dream come true! Skipping the line was a huge benefit, especially with how popular this gallery is. However, the process of finding the person with the pre-paid tickets was far more difficult than expected. There wasn’t clear signage, and the area outside was crowded, making it hard to locate the designated representative among all the other tours gathering nearby. Inside the gallery, the art was mesmerizing, and being able to walk right up to these masterpieces without waiting for too long was definitely worth it. Just a heads-up: if you book this tour, allow some extra time to find your ticket contact!

Kinda sketchy. Tickets were in other people’s name (personally don’t see myself as a ‘Chad’). Ultimately we were able to enter, but it was questionable at the beginning. Also, we didn’t get a ticket stub for memories. It seemed a little scammy. Luckily it was ok.

We were unable to go inside the museum. The crowd was very large and our guide kept moving us from area to area and line to line with no success after 90min past our timed entry. We could not wait any longer as he explained it could be up to an additional 90min before we get in and we had another tour booked. He suggested we request a refund. I don't blame Viator or the guide, it was a rough scene for everyone there and I only write this to provide warning on severe rain days.
