Honestly this is the best way to skip the line and see the duomo. It’s the perfect length if you just want to get in, enjoy the beauty and get out. Our tour guide was great - hit the highlights and then let us roam around.

We booked this primarily to skip the line & it was perfect. The queue is massive & this allows you to skip the entire thing and go directly to security. We waited for less than 1 minute in the security line (unlike some skip the lines where you are still in a huge line). The tour inside is brief and informative.

I received a notification during the night before saying that the tour was moved to 12:00 and I have proof on my phone. The tour was supposed to start at 10:15. We were contacted by “The Tour Guy” Tour Guide asking where we were. I said I received notification that the tour. I sent them a screenshot copy of the notification. They said they didn’t have any record of this and I would have to take it up Viator since that was who we booked through. We want our money back.

We need to state clearly that our tour was held exactly at the 10:15 AM start time as originally booked through Viator, and our records show no time change was ever made by us or by the Viator platform. Our guide confirmed this when they reached out to you.
We are sorry that you missed the tour, but as we ran the tour exactly as scheduled, we cannot issue a refund. For any claim regarding a notification change, you will need to contact Viator directly.

This is a no-frills tour that let's you skip the gigantic line that wraps around the entire cathedral. Our tour guide was wonderful and speaks to you through an ear piece, which let's you wander a bit from the group and still hear her speak. It does not include the crypt or climb, but if you just want to cut the line, hear about 30 min of info, and then explore at your leisure, this tour is perfect!

This is so worth it! Not only do you skip the line but you get a brief tour that makes the experience of seeing the Duomo so much more interesting. It's not too long, but you learn things you wouldn't notice on your own otherwise. It added to our experience so much!

His tour definitely helped us skip the line. We saw probably 100 or more people standing in line and we went around the line and went in a side door so we got in right away. The information provided was very good as well. The tour guide provided a good overview. The only thing I would say is the inside is very plain except for the artwork in the dome itself. So you might also consider doing the Belltower or going up into the dome.

Worth the cost to skip the lines. We learned enough about the dome history from our guide but using an expert to navigate around, the crowds was worth every penny.

Do not book this tour! Got inside Duomo but after about 15 min. tour guide left the group without any direction and said we were free to explore on our own. We were expecting to climb to top of Duomo .

Very well organised, definitely worth the cost both because we did not have to queue in the hot sun for hours, walked straight in via a separate entrance, and also because our guide was both informative and spoke fantastic English. I would definitely book again and probably opt for a longer tour as there was so much more to talk about!

This 30 minute tour was great! I saw other tour groups that had to wait in the long line, but got to enter a separate door. Our guide was amazing and told us great stories about the Duomo. This also includes entry to Museo della Misericordia (where you meet the guide), so we did that after the Duomo, and it was a great surprise for us! Our guide there was very friendly too.

I feel I’ve been ripped off. Viator/tour guide provides an address that is not easy to find for foreigners. We were going from one place to the next until someone guided us to the meeting place and we were a few minutes late. The tour guide didn’t wait for us and tickets were very expensive. This is a rip off and not worth it to buy. Viator won’t do anything to return our money.

We waited outside in the pouring rain for 40 minutes- WITH skip the line tickets. Our guide did nothing more than walk us in- point left and say- there is the statue David. We were then on our own.
