Cancellation disaster

I had to cancel my excursion to the Uffizi Gallery due to a fall on the ship & transportation from La. Spezia was over two hours away. I could not talk to anyone even though I emailed them & tried their customer service number!No way of communicating!! So if you have to cancel - good luck !!!!

Unfortunately, the cancellation occurred within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, at which point your tickets and guide had already been paid for. As a result, we weren’t in a position to offer a refund, as we had already incurred the full costs on your behalf. We completely understand that unforeseen circumstances can happen, and we genuinely sympathize with your situation. We would encourage you to contact your travel insurance provider, who should be able to reimburse you for any loss due to illness or accident. We hope you recover quickly and can enjoy a visit to the Uffizi on a future trip to Italy.

Antonio was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who took the time to explain the history and the background as well as showing us some of his favourite parts of the city we would otherwise never have seen. We learnt a lot about Leonardo, especially his amazing technical abilities, as well as his particular painting style, which we had not previously understood. We also learnt lots about Michelangelo and the other great artists of the time. It was so good to have someone explain and interpret the fantastic works of art we saw.

Focus on a Renaissance genius with the best tour guide in Florence

I've been to Florence probably six or seven times but was traveling for this visit with a teenager/first-timer to Italy. This incredibly informative and fun tour was great for both of us. Our guide, Antonio, is a true expert and so kind. I was worried about a group slowing us down but it turned out to just be two of us plus Antonio, which was great luck for us and really made for a tailored experience (and honestly even with a group I know Antonio would be efficient!). I really liked the tour's focus on one artist (Leonardo da Vinci) and I had never been to the Leonardo museum - you can always learn something new in Italy if you have a fantastic guide like Antonio. Having his assistance to get into the Uffizi was also totally worth it, and he even offered to stand in line and hold our place while we zipped off to get some photos. Also great - having him lead us directly to Leonardo's paintings in the Uffizi, and then we were free to explore the museum as we wished on our own. Antonio shared so much helpful knowledge with us on this tour, including restaurant and other recommendations, and even some notes for Rome. I highly recommend taking a tour with Antonio while you are in Florence!

Great tour. Antonio is very knowledgeable and passionate both about the city and Leonardo.His introduction to Uffizi and explanation of Leonardo's work was brilliant. After the tour ended, he gave me tips on what to focus on in the museum ( as otherwise it would have overwhelming) as well as general tips about how to enjoy Florence. I really enjoyed it all!
