If you have trouble standing for about an hour without leaning or sitting, reconsider going on the tour but you can still go to the observation deck. Just research a little to make sure you have the physical stamina. There are also a few small challenging areas to navigate between rocks. Not for the big guys!

Excellent. Neil was our guide. He was informative, entertaining, kind and considerate. The park is breathtaking and impactful. Everything was taken care of by our guide including pics he took of our group, snacks and drinks provided. He even texted us the night before to introduce himself and texted us after to say goodbye. The park nature guide was super as well and extremely knowledgeable. This experience gets a 10/10.

The passion that Aaron O’Brien has for archaeology and knowledge of the Mesa Verde and surrounding areas!

Our day was perfect from beginning to end. Our guide/driver was entertaining, very knowledgable , professional and personable. He truly seemed to care about each and every person on the tour.

Neil was our tour guide and he was fantastic! He took pictures of our family at multiple stops and sent them to us afterwards. He told us a lot of history on our drive there but made it fun and entertaining! Would highly recommend this tour as you can sit back and enjoy the scenery instead of driving it yourself.

Neil, our guide and driver - advantageous in this winding mountainous terrain - provided an information rich excursion experience with a unique wit and wisdom approach. The walking tour guided by park ranger, Kevin, was an up close architectural with historical context gem. We were privileged to learn from these committed and engaged professionals. This tour must be far superior to a DYI visit.

Had plan to do this on our own by purchasing tickets from the National Park Service. So glad we did not. We had a wonderful and informative guide, Neil, who made the whole tour very enjoyable. Neil, took us to places we never would have gone on our own and along the way provided a very detailed description of everything we encountered. Highly recommend this tour.

We learned a great deal from our guide Aaron. He had so much knowledge and passion, he gave us greater understanding of the Pueblo people, culture, and so much more. His passion was contagious! We appreciated how relaxed he was too with time. He gave us time to explore.
The 2nd best experience was touring Cliff Palace in a sudden storm. Our guide was wonderful and so knowledgeable too.
The Museum with Aaron was also great!

We started right on time. The van was air-conditioned which was great because it was a hot day. The tour guy, Gary, was very knowledgeable, considerate, and made sure we were all well hydrated. My 11 and 14 year old girls loved it too.

Neil was a fantastic guide and narrator.
Had my two grandkids with me (9 and 12) and they enjoyed it.
Definitely recommend a tour for your first day to get a lay of the land so you know what to go back and see after.

This tour was absoutely amazing. Our tour guide, Neil, was so personable and knowledgeable. And also a great photographer. If you have any health issues, you might be limited on what you can see.....but Neil makes sure that you are okay & you don't really miss what you might not be able to climb up/down to see. We are a retired couple & hubby enjoyed the entire tour. It will be your mistake if you miss this tour.

This was a wonderful tour. Greg our guide and driver was very knowledgeable about the history of this area in southwest Colorado. Besides explaining everything in detail about the area and people that once inhabited it. He made sure our small group stayed together and we had our questions answered. I would highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to get Greg as a guide!
