Justin was our guide and was great! Worked hard so we didn't have to. Was very friendly and made the trip more fun. We went at the end of June. The water was easy and I went with my 16 year old daughter but would be no problem to take very young kids. Had a great time but would probably do again only if earlier in the season when water is higher as there was very little rapids and slow moving water. Justin and the crew working there were fantastic though!

This was such a fun adventure! River was low during our trip, so not the white waters we had anticipated, but still fun and our guide was a good time!

We had a great time with Pinkey and Hailee! Great tour guides even with low water. We had a blast. Our fam of 9 was split 6 and 3 and they kept us near enough to chat the whole time.

We are sorry to hear our trip did not live up to your expectations. The Animas River is not dam controlled therefore we rely on snow melt and rain for the varying river levels. For those looking for more excitement, we'd suggest coming earlier in the summer when the river tends to be higher and more exciting.

My husband and I had a great time on this rafting trip. The rapids were fun and not scary at all. Our guide, Landon, was fun and informative. You do paddle on this trip. But it’s not difficult or tiring. I would definitely recommend this trip!

Great fun and easy for kids. One thing I would add would be narration from the guide. Maybe something about the history of Durango, Animas River, or the interesting geology we passed along the way. Interaction would make the trip more entertaining and memorable.

Love..loved..loved the Durango to Silverton train ride. Beautiful scenery. The raft ride was nice. Not too much excitement, just at the end. We stayed at a beautiful home surrounded by tall pine trees. All in all…a wonderful trip !!!!

Family rafting trip was fantastic!! Time to get out a swim, time to float along and then some rapids for the excitement. Levi was our guide and was amazing! Great teacher and made the whole trip so fun! Highly recommend

Excellent. The excursion company being able to handle my booking, payment, (over the phone) and generating our receipt with pickup location with the first call was a great experience with just their technical side.
The ride was fine (parking was meh since it’s max is 3 hours if you want to be close that is (the lot across from their location can’t guarantee parking or in our case Couldn’t process our payment- so if you do a long excursion 3+ hours you’ll get a ticket for overstaying on the street as a heads up), the ride To the drop zone was comfy and quick, Porto potties had no TP, life jackets were in good/great condition and smelled clean, instructors were great, funny, and personable... really enjoyed my experience- just be mindful of parking and maybe bring some TP if you’re a mixed male/female group and you’ll be happy with this company
