Took family from out of town and had a great time. We got to see a manatee up close. The guide, Steven, was kind and knowledgeable and the captain was awesome. My family appreciated the hot chocolate on the boat ride back. I definitely recommend the early tour and the photo package.

Caleb and Jake were great tour guides. Super informative about the area and the manatees. I highly recommend doing this tour with them. We had the amazing opportunity to swim with a mama and her calf. We even had extra time to check out one of the ner by springs. It was so beautiful.

Make sure to bring towels and flip flops or water shoes. Jaden and Jake were absolutely amazing. We had 4 in our group and then a family of 6 with us. It was nice to not have tons of people. Jaden was pleasant, knowledgeable and made the whole experience enjoyable. Jake the captain made sure everything and everyone was safe, and comfortable during the ride. I would recommend this experience to family, friends and strangers. From the moment we arrived to the moment we were finished, the process was simple and care free. Highly, highly recommend Nature's Discovery.

Murky waters, CLOSE manatees!

The water is far murkier than it appears in the pics. Because of the water opacity, the free pics of you with the manatees and getting pics yourself turned out to be pretty much useless. But you get CLOSE, within inches, of at least one manatee! That experience alone is worth the price and the people running it, Steven and Evan, the Manatee Whisperer were great and made sure everyone got a chance to get close to a manatee. I would definitely recommend this experience to a friend, because you can't do this anywhere else.

Freezing but amazing

Hudson & Jake were amazing! We were there on Jan 18, with rain, wind, freeze warning, all-around miserable day. We had the 10:30am tour at around 50 degrees. But there were so many manatees! Hudson & Jake kept the mood light as we shivered (:

You meet at their shop (very welcoming staff), change into a wetsuit (plenty of changing stalls), they'll drive everyone to the pier to the boat via van (not even 2 minutes away). From there, the boat (pretty decent size) will take you to go see the manatees. Captain was very sweet as well. They give snorkel equipment & a noodle to stay afloat. Once they see a manatee, you get off the boat & into the water. The water (to me & my friends) was a bit cold (70's) despite it being warm (80's) outside but you do get used to it...(kinda). The experience itself was a bit anticlimatic in my opinion as you just float and watch until the manatee comes up for air. Stephen did say that they're less active in the "afternoon" (we did the 10:30am session) and they sleep majority of the time. Stephen was nice enough to take us to different areas to spot different manatees. We got to see 4 different ones! He & the captain gave us a lot of information about manatees which was nice as well. It definitely is a once-in-a-lifetime experience as we were literally face to face with a manatee. The hot chocolate at the end was the cherry on top ! However, I do wish we were out there for longer... we were only in the water for about 1-1.5 hour (the experience is listed to be about 3 hours but we finished everything within 2). I also wish that the photos that were taken were of us WITH the manatees not just one or the other (like an actual pose with a manatee individually; most of the photos were just of the manatee...).

the guides were really helpful, gave clear instructions and we learned much from the place and wildlife. it was so quiet early in the morning and snorkeling with the manatees was an amazing experience. we waited until they approached us themselves and the guides made sure i werent touching or kicking anything and always asked after my well-being, totally recommend!

This was a dream come true to swim with the manatees and John and Mandy helped make that happen. They are highly professional and know a lot of great facts about the manatees. They are the nicest people and don’t charge additional fees for parking/marina/fotos. Whereas most others do. Also they helped making some last minute reservation changes, no problem whatsoever. Being a small family owned enterprise really makes a difference here. I’d pick them again next time for sure:)

We had a great time with Captain Jake and guide Jaden. We enjoyed a quick boat ride to the springs where we found lots of manatees. Our family consisted of two parents, our 18 year old daughter, and 8 year old twin boys. I was a little worried about the youngest, but they enjoyed it just as much as the adults! Thank you all for a core memory! 🩶🐚

We had a fabulous experience swimming with the manatees! John and Caleb were great, knowledgeable, and took good care of our group. We were never rushed and stayed a long time with the manatees. I was thrilled to see a mother baby pair. The baby swam right up to me! I liked several things about this tour company: 1.) how warm they kept the locker room while suiting up. 2.) the little dressing stalls., and 3.) how close the business location was to the actual boat launching area. The swim photos were the icing on the cake!

Had the best time with my husband and son a few weeks ago. My husband felt abit ill so sat it out whilst still watching from the boat, but my son and I had a fantastic time. Taylor ensured we got the best experience, all whilst taken photos and filming our experience. We saw lots of manatees and came face to face with and swam along with them… we even got to watch a nursing mum and baby. We saw lots of turtles too and fish. Would highly recommend this company.
