Our captain, Judge was a local who knew the canals and territory very well. He was very imformative. Chrystal, our swim guide was great. The equipment provided was perfect. Moe importantly, we saw 5 Manatees incuding a calf only a few days old.

It was an amazing experience even outside of manatee season. Captain Brody and our guide Hayden were wonderful and made sure we got to have a great experience.

We were out of manatee season but we still got to swim near some of the manatee “residents” who stay year-round! It was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Book directly with Fun to Dive instead of through aviator or trip advisor to avoid complications and get accurate details.
Gabby and Judge were great guides.

Great experience!!! Jessica our guide was excellent, reviewed the rules, assisted as needed, and took great photos. Loved it so much we'll come again next year.

Worth getting up early to be the among the first that morning. The water is the clearest at time of the morning. They came right up next to me
When I came up out of the water, one was looking right at me. These gentle giants were so captivating. I could have stayed all day. We had a great time with Captain Garrett and Eli. I would come back and do it again. I'm a senior citizen and this is something others could probably do as well. Just dog paddle and hang on a knoodle.

5 star experience, they provide everything needed except a towel so bring your own. They use a drone from the boat to find manatees quickly and we spent most of our time in the water swimming with the manatees instead of on the boat looking for them. The staff was great and we will make it a point to use them in the future when we come back!!! The guide and boat captain were friendly and informative on the area and the wildlife. They made it an enjoyable experience!!

We did the 7am tour and it was absolutely worth it. We were one of the few boats out in the springs.
Bring towels and a few socks.

Not a good choice for children.
We booked a tour for my son’s 10th birthday, and the weather was beautiful, the captain was great, and we were able to see three manatees. There was a total of 7 of us on the boat, including the captain and guide, so a pretty small tour.
We booked through Viator and the website states that the tour is for ages 3-99. However, our guide clearly lacked the experience or maturity that is required when working with children.
My recommendation for the company is to consider an age limit for these excursions. There are a lot of rules to remember and some kids will have more difficulty with coordination than others. Our son was extremely calm and quiet and did everything that he was asked to do. He was having trouble with his snorkel and when he would try to fix it his legs would hang down in the water. The guide told him to keep his legs up—that was fine. A little later his legs dipped again when he was trying to adjust and she said “if you can’t keep your legs up, I mean, I mean. I’m going to have to…”—threatening to make him get out of the water. At this point I intervened and explained to her that it was a lot for a 10 year old to remember and that there needed to be some grace with children. I decided to take him back to the boat anyway because he was very cold. I explained to the captain what happened and he offered a solution so that our son’s legs wouldn’t dip down and he was very gracious. We were very disheartened that this guide was extremely uptight and made the experience very stressful. Really, she seemed to be looking for reasons to complain. She even told me not to stand up when the captain clearly stated that we could stand up if we were having trouble.
If you are going to allow children on these excursions you need guides who can offer grace, COACHING, and education—NOT to chastise an obedient child who is very obviously trying to do what they are told. She had an opportunity to gently educate and help my son—to be a good example, and I was appalled at her audacity to threaten him.
She said they have to be strict because of the fish and wildlife drones fly over and film and they could get fined for any violations. Listen, if fish and wildlife come after my child because his legs hang down while he was trying to adjust his mask and I am trying to teach him to be responsible then bring it on. I would love to give a five-star review for the captain and the experience, but the guide needs more training. Our son was perfectly well-behaved and calm. She missed a big opportunity to encourage a child to be a good steward of the earth and animals. I would never want him to learn from her poor example.

Hello Carla! I'm really sorry to hear about your bad experience with the guide for your tour. Your guide is fairly new which is no excuse. I will make sure that the importance of making sure children are comfortable on the tour and they're not having issues with their masks is addressed with her. Thank you for your feedback!

Excellent tour guide providing interesting details added to the trip (Zachary)! Or Captain Jason was excellent. You can tell they love these animals and it shows. Very well run organization, good price, super cute shop and very helpful overall.

Kate and Jason our Captain and guide made sure our trip was everything we hoped. Continuously moving until we found multiple manatees to interact. They took loads of pictures. They education they provided was worth the time and money.
Great day!
