I wouldn’t hesitate to do this excursion with Tommy B. He is very knowledgeable about the manatees and we had a great time going with him. I always felt safe and he is extremely friendly. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up booking two more times with him. I had a wonderful time the three times I was with him. I would definitely book with him again if I get back to Crystal River. .

We had a great time with Tommy on the tour. He gave us the complete tour & communicated with other boats to find the manatees (we were early in the season so there weren’t than many yet.
He talked about the history of the springs and areas in the bay and river as we toured. He also gave us the lowdown on the waterfront restaurants we passed along the way.
We also had the chance to feed the tarpon along the dock, thanks to some folks who were cleaning fish as we were headed to the boat.
All in all, we had a lovely tour and saw a variety of wildlife in addition to manatees. Tommy is a great guide and we plan to return during peak manatee viewing season. Very safe and very mellow tour; exactly what we wanted.
Captain Tommy B. was very knowledgeable about the manatees and river. He was also very conscientious about safety ... passengers, manatees, and other watercraft on the river. We saw many, many, many manatees!
Overall, the experience was disappointing.
We drove over an hour each way to see the manatees. we left having seen (?) one small manatee under the water. It was very difficult to see the one moving form in the water.
The boat driver, Tommy B was pleasant.
This was my 2nd time to book a tour to see manatees. The first time the tour operator contacted me ahead of time to advise me the m as matters were just not there and allowed me to cancel and use the time to do something else with my out of town guests. I wish Tommy B had done the same.

Family trip to Fla and wanted to see the manatee. Weather was perfect for a smooth boat ride around Crystal river. The captain was great with information and finding manatee.
We had a great time on this tour. Tommy was knowledgeable, positive and fun. We learned so much. Very comfortable. Would highly recommend! My only frustration was where to actually meet at Pete’s Pier — fairly big place so you’ll have to ask where to meet up. No big deal, but be aware.

Tommy was incredible! Extremely knowledgeable, great with kids and had a wonderful rapport with other captains. You could tell he was respected by others and passionate about what he does. We saw some great wildlife and of course manatees. Will 100% book with him again when we come back.

Tommy B is a fantastic, knowledgable captain/guide. We saw 2 bald eagles, manatees with a baby, dolphin, and turtles. Boat is well maintained and very comfortable. Tommy is familiar with the history of the area so you leave with a global picture of Crystal River.

Our guide Tom was very thoughtful and tried do max from 1 hour and 30 min trip. It was enough to see a lot of manatees and few of wild animals. This is a private tour and I would recommend to my friends.
