John was our tour guide, and he provided us with an excellent experience! We learned quite a bit of history about Pike's Peak throughout the tour, and the stops along the way (both on the way up and the way down) were so picturesque. It had snowed a couple of days before, and all the views were breathtaking. We highly recommend this tour!

Great experience. Even though we only
made it to Glen Cove it was worth it! James gave us a wealth of information and history of the area. We drove through Garden of the Gods, stopped and saw the rock formations and had plenty of time to explore!

Im sure this was noted somewhere and probably more than once! But I don’t think it can be emphasized enough that one may or may not get to the top, completely weather dependent and totally out of everyone’s control! That being said, I had a great time all the way around! Thank you!

Hi Stephanie. Unfortunately, there is never a guarantee to get to the summit...particularly in the winter. I do reach out to guests the day before when it seems unlikely to get to the top so they can either reschedule, cancel, or just go for what we can get to. Still a scenic journey.

This was an incredible experience. James is so knowledgeable on everything from Pikes Peak to the Garden of Gods and everything in between. Highly recommend this tour, it’s a don’t miss if you’re in Colorado Springs.

Absolutely amazing. Our guide and driver John was wonderful. He knew so much about the history and current. Plus his stories on traveling the peak were great. The drive seemed to go quickly and smoothly that we were at the top it seemed in no time even tho we made stops along the way and a bathroom stop at the cafe.
When we come back, we still won’t drive it. We will leave the driving to the experts like John S.

Our tour guide was awesome! Very knowledgeable guy on the mountains and areas of Colorado! He knew so many facts and stopped at multiple places to take pictures for us! Jeep was clean and comfortable. We even got some great food recommendations from him. Amazing experience!

So glad we booked this tour instead of driving ourselves. We were both able to enjoy it without the stress of driving. Our guide was Dave who was great. There was a wind advisory the night before our 9am tour. We had the option to reschedule, cancel or cross our fingers and hope the road to the summit was open. Due to our flight time, we took our chances and after about a half hour delay the road was opened. Dave had a lot of interesting information on the ride up. He also recommended a tapas restaurant close to our meeting place which was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour vs driving yourselves.

I knew when they finally updated the phone message it wasn't good, but I'm glad y'all decided to go anyways. Sometimes you just have to go for it and see what the day brings. It worked out for us as we were able to reach summit. And it was a NICE day.

John was our tour guide. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about all aspects of Pikes Peak. We met fellow travelers Terry and Cindy and they loved the experience as well. He was very engaging and was able to answer any questions we had and joined as group photographer to capture this trip. I would highly recommend asking for John on your trip.

Kevin was a great guide and driver. He knew so much about the area and could easily share with us. I tend toward motion sickness and with Kevin's driving, it wasn't a problem at all. We're glad we took a tour and didn't drive ourselves because one of us would have had our eyes glued to the road and we wouldn't have learned as much as we did.

Our driver John was both personable and informative. He kept the tour on time without being pushy about it and was good about stopping for pictures and even taking them for us. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it.

Be sure to take warm clothes with you. Ask for Kevin, he was a great guide. You can't be guaranteed a clear view up there.

We had a great time and our tour guide was excellent. It was a beautiful day and a comprehensive tour of pikes peak.
*WARNING there is NO OFFROADING, it is a paved road drive up the mountain* sadly we assumed the purpose of the Jeep was to do a little bit of 4x4 trails but that is not included in this particular event.

Thanks Vanessa. We are glad you enjoyed the experience. Pikes Peak highway has been paved all the way for a good while now. While there is an off road area to a reservior it is closed for repairs.

We would highly recommend the jeep tour. The ride is tricky and our driver, Jeff, was very skilled to the top and upon our return. We felt very safe and he was very knowledgeable about the mountains facts and surrounding areas.

Our tour guide was John, and he gave us a wonderful experience. We learned so much history of Pikes Peak. Had plenty of opportunity to stop and take pictures of the breathtaking views. We loved traveling by the Jeep as it was a very personal and more intimate experience. Would Definitely recommend and would do again on another visit.
