Overview
This is Colorado’s most thrilling bike ride—from the top of Pikes Peak, it’s an 8,000-foot (2,438m) descent. You’ll meet your guide at the Pikes Peak Adventure Center, grab some coffee and a light breakfast, and then make the quick drive to the summit. From there, you’ll snap some pictures before saddling up, cruising down for what just might be the most memorable ride of your life.

We had 11 family members ages 12-62 and this was the most incredible experience! Our guides, Spencer, Nick and Kenzie were THE BEST, encouraging, patient and super knowledgeable. This will be a cherished family memory. It was the highlight of our trip. Thank you so much! Highly recommend.

Eric and Luke were great guides. They provided a ton of fun facts and information. The race down the mountain was awesome. Great views. Definitely make sure you layer…it’s cold at the top.

The Pikes Peak Downhill Bicycle tour was dynamite! Going down the Pikes Peak Hiway on a bike was an experience l will never forget.
Marcel and Mike were excellent guides shepherding us down the Hiway. Providing stops along the way in order to take some amazing pictures. Thanks Marcel and Mike for an exciting time!

This was more than a tour, it was an experience. I have done many tours throughout my travels however Mark and Ty were exceptional tour guides. From introductions to departure they made the tour group feel like family.

I can’t recommend this tour enough. It is a highlight not to be missed. It began with my awesome tour guides Mark in the van and Anson in front of me. As it turns out I was the only one on the tour. I have experience riding so we had a blast. The views were spectacular from my time at the summit visitor center to the many stops along the way down. I felt totally safe (loved the full face helmets), they provided knee/elbow pads, gloves, and a warm jacket which I did not need. They offered plenty of water and snacks. The ride was not scary at all, it was exhilarating. We had a perfectly clear cloudless day. After the tour I rented an E-bike from the store and biked all over Colorado Springs. An e-bike is definitely needed with the many hills around the Springs. I dropped off the bike and they graciously drove be back to my accommodations. If you want a once in a lifetime tour trust Pikes Peak Bike Tours. I highly recommend that a couple days prior you be sure to have drank a lot of water to be able to handle the change in elevation. I am from Florida and had no issues adjusting.
