The experience is very educational. Everyone involved is friendly & professional. They introduce you to several different birds, explain their differences & their individual hunting styles. They also assist you in getting pictures to document your visit. Deanna & Nicole were a great team & I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves birds or is looking for a unique experience during their stay in Colorado Springs. There's also an advanced class I may have to come back to take!

Interesting, informative and fun -- and could be habit forming! I never would have guessed falconry would be so much fun.
The Broadmoor Falconry experience was, without question, one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. It has been on my bucket list for years, and it exceeded every expectation.
Getting to interact with these magnificent birds was unforgettable. Learning about their behavior, history, and the art of falconry then actually having them perch on your gloved hand is something I'll remember for the rest of my life.
A huge thank you to Deanna, who made the entire experience exceptional. She was funny, knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about both the birds and the centuries-old tradition of falconry. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she made everyone feel comfortable and excited throughout the session.
If you're visiting Colorado Springs or staying at The Broadmoor, don't even hesitate—book this experience. It's truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure and worth every penny.
This was such a cool experience! From seeing all the animals and wildlife around to learning all the details about the different types of birds. Loved it! Highly recommend!!
It was an incredible experience learning about the raptor birds. Their guide, Scott, was very knowledgeable and had been helping with Falcons since he was 7 years old. You could feel the passion in his voice for these birds. Scott led us through three different locations with several different birds of prey including three subspecies of Falcons, Hawks, and two types of owls. The hike with the flying hawk was awesome!
Guide was knowlegable about so many things and was able to answer all questions. Loved her humor. All employees were amazing. The Falcons and Owls were such a treat to experience. Will be back for next class soon. Highly recomnended

We had an amazing time and learned so much! Roger was sooo knowledgable and made the experience so much fun. We loved being able to hold the falcon- so cool! The 90 minutes flew by. The birds were beautiful and majestic and it was such a fun surprise to be able to pet a few of them! We enjoyed the many parts of the day-a stop by the bird cages, the trip inside the owl room, the walk with the hawk through the woods. It was a wonderfully planned afternoon and we couldn’t recommend it more. We left with smiles on our faces. Thank you so much Roger! Highly recommend booking this tour!

Excellent experience… This is a must do for anyone interested in Falconry & birds of prey. Our guide (Deanna) was an experienced Falconer & explained the sport in an understandable way.
This was worth every penny and was absolutely fantastic. I have traveled the world and this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. We are going back for the intermediate course really soon!

I was late and was given options. The falconer was pleasant and informative. And last but not least …the birds.
Just being out in nature and being able to observe the birds was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable and I could tell it was her love. This activity was by far the best for me and I recommend it for everyone.
