We loved this trip. Seeing the sights were great. The driver was kind and accommodating. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor option for seating. This made a huge difference with the kids and made the tour more fun for us

Joe was great- very funny and entertaining. I went with my wife and at every stop he was asking if we’d like him to take picture of us (and he got some great ones). We really enjoyed and appreciated the experience.

Unbelievable views! We did take supplemental oxygen as we definitely felt the effects of the high altitude and it was a game changer. Very cold as you ascend, take layers. Knowledgeable guide. Very fun afternoon.

Our driver, Joe was a very good driver but not very personable. My cousin has a bad hip and she had to wait forever for the stool and after he placed the stool he didn’t assist her at all. We were freezing on the way up but he didn’t offer us any blankets but the people outside on the way down got blankets.

Sorry Joe wasn't fastest enough for you. He tries to help everyone on the tour equally. We always have blankets available so just ask if your cold. We do state in our reminder to bring jackets and warm layers on the Pikes Peak tour as well.

Tour was nice and relaxing. Sitting on the back of the Jeep was a great experience. Meeting place was easy to find. Our gone was very informative and friendly. Had a great time.

My cousin and I did both the Piles Peak and Garden of the Gods tours with Joe at buggy tours, and I cannot rave enough about how wonderful it was. The tours are small groups and very informative. Joe shares so much knowledge about not just the parks, but the vegetation, birds, and little known history, that you feel his passion for nature and maintaining it. He also recommended two restaurants to us that were fabulous. Don't miss put on these tours if you visit Manitou Springs.

The whole experience was fantastic! The driver was safe and took his time to make sure we had an enjoyable ride up to the top of the peak! He made sure all passengers were comfortable and felt good for the ride. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to take a tour of pikes peak.

The driver was very knowledgeable and provided interesting stories and facts along the trip. He was cautious of the weather so that we weren’t caught in a storm that cropped up on the peak.

Overall a great experience. Breathtaking and awe inspiring. Directions for pickup was clear and Joe arrived right on time. We enjoyed his narrative during the ride. Do not hesitate to use this business. Be sure to dress in layers. It does get cold!

Our group had a great ride up the mountain in the Jeep. We felt safe and enjoyed all the extra information Joe offered up throughout the trip. The meeting point instruction was clear and easy to find. It is quite the journey up there and super scenic. I was hoping for more stops along the way to get out and take pictures and also think more time (at least 45 mins) at the top would be great to be able to see everything and visit the cafe and gift shop. Incredible experience with a great driver!

Joe, our Jeep tour guide was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and made the experience magical. Loved that there were blankets, water and protein bars offered to us during our journey. Joe took wonderful care of us. I would definitely recommend this tour to others planning to visit Pikes Peak.

On May 18, 2024 we booked this tour. I was accompanied by my wife and our four year old granddaughter. We knew that the weather conditions were going to be cool with the possibility of rain. Our driver/guide seemed knowledgeable about this tour on Pikes Peak. The tour was to be approximately four hours long, however due to snowy conditions on the summit, our tour was cut short by about two hours. Of course, we were disappointed that we did not reach the summit however we totally understand that safety is paramount.
I feel that because this was an incomplete tour, we should receive some kind of monetary credit for use in the future. Spending $260 for two hours just doesn't seem right to me and a goodwill gesture of a credit would seem appropriate.

We are sorry you feel this way. We are not responsible for how the weather acts and we also state this on our website "There are no guarantees of making it to the summit!" For this reason we still keep our word and the tour last for 3 hours and we take you other awesome places to explore. We have never done a 4 hour tour of Pikes Peak it has always been 3 hours long and we never cut short as we take you other places for the remaining time. You never reached out for a refund so how are we to know the way you feel without letting us know. We are always here to communicate and have given many refunds to our clients who have any problems and do not feel satisfied. In the future please reach out before giving a local family 5 star business a poor review.

Great driver and narration on our trip. Very accommodating and everything went as planned on our itinerary. We had a smooth and fun ride up to Pike's Peak. Beautiful scenery and lots of opportunities for great pictures.

We know we got lucky as we got all the way up to the Summit on our visit, due to the weather cooperating. Our guide gave us complete and total confidence that we were in good hands driving what could be a very treacherous trek with interesting facts and stories along the way. The vehicle is mostly open and the temps drop about 30
degrees when you get up to the top, so make sure to come prepared!

Worth it to have an experienced driver who is able to give info about the mountains and trees and tips where to stop and get you up and down safely. Husband and I were able to enjoy the scenery with out driving. Definitely pack ALL the layers if you want to ride in back. Last few miles to top is COLD

We had the best experience with our guide and owner, Joe. The night before we were so disappointed that we had gotten a cancellation notice from the Pikes Peak Cog Railroad. At 11:30 pm I found and booked a tour online with Joe. Very promptly the next morning I was emailed and texted that our tour would be a 3:30pm. We were so happy because the tour would be the last activity of our vacation.
Joe picked up our family of six at the designated location. On our way up to the top Joe stopped at numerous pull offs so we could get out and look around and take pictures. He was very informative and fun. He talked about the vegetation and animals that are found at different altitudes. He talked about the race that happens every year and how it is to drive up and down the mountain.
He made the tour fun for the kids talking about Sasquatch and the lure of donuts at the top.
Once at the top he let us out to have time to explore. We ate the donuts, took the pictures and when the kids had had enough he even entertained them a little while my husband and I soaked in few more minutes of the indescribable view.
We were comfortable in the van and felt very safe with Joe driving.
I would recommend this tour to everyone. We were so thankful that the railroad cancelled us and we found Joe to take us up. We would not have had such an enjoyable experience on the train. It was definitely a highlight of our vacation!
