Our tour guide, Jeff, was fantastic! So knowledgeable about the area and very passionate about the history! The only negative was that the listing claimed that “snacks” and “samples” would be included and they were not. Jeff kindly bought us snacks and drinks to make up for the misleading advertising. He was very generous and kind! We had a great day! I highly recommend the tour, just bring your own snacks or be prepared to purchase.

Jeff is a recent addition to our team so thank you for his awesome review...
Regarding snacks, while we often make stops at pizzerias, breweries, etc (depending on the group), we include these in our pricing... each tour can be different....
Also, stopping at any specific business with the expectation that our guests are required to spend any money is not legal in NYC, so this is tricky and all the guest usually agree on any stops.... brunch is possible, oysters - whatever- but we do always stop for a bite on our tours....
All the best....

John our guide was great! He grew up in Brooklyn, knows the history, present sights to see, and also gives you a look at where Brooklyn is growing and becoming. Easy ride and we had a great lunch along the way!

Yeah that lunch was great - great Tacos right????
Thank you for your review.

Upon arriving at our meeting place, my wife and I were surprised to see we were the only customers. A small group tour!
Our guide Jeff lived in Brooklyn, and was excellent in leading us around the busy local areas. We stopped for lunch at a famous Italian sandwich shop, which was very nice. One small sandwich will feed two.
I have marked the score down, as the tour was not as advertised on Viator.
Where were the snacks? Also, what happened to Brooklyn Public House, Raaka Chocolate and Widow Jean Distillery.
This was an expensive tour, and I do not feel we received value for money.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention - those places are permanently closed. Our stops change each season as Brooklyn is changing - and the the "suggested" routes listed can change depending on the groups needed. Example, I had a group that was into American Baseball and changed the route to see Brooklyn Dodgers first clubhouse.....

Great information and really interesting! Five stars for sure! Saw so many fascinating places in Brooklyn and never knew it was so cool and hip.

Jack did an excellent job of leading us through Brooklyn on our bikes, and teaching us about the history of Brooklyn!

Everything was just right with Daniel as our guide. We had a lot of fun, saw a wide variety of Brooklyn sights and neighborhoods, learned about Brooklyn’s history and present, and felt very safe following him through parks, along to water front, and on bustling streets.

Frank my guide was very knowledgeable and narrated a great history tour to go along with the site seeing tour. I saw parts of Brooklyn that I never would have seen by my own efforts. Lunch stop was authentic and delicious. We kept to designated cycle lanes so it felt self. I am not a regular cyclist and the 4.5 hour tour was very manageable. Loads of fun facts and really great to cycle and take in the Brooklyn sites like a local.

Frank, our tour guide took a really cohesive and interesting group through the different areas and times of Brooklyn. It was a sweltering day, yet we all stayed the course and go so much out of it. Engaging, educational, physical and involving would highly recommend.

We had a lovely ride through Brooklyn with stories about the borough led by a Brooklyn native who loves his neighborhoods. The bikes were excellent. But he was no tour guide and if you are new to Brooklyn, this is not your tour : no history, no photo stops. We were a big groupe of 11 which made it difficult to hear everything and ask questions. Disappointed that we made no stops to sample local produce as advertised.
Response from Host, Aug 2023
Thank you for taking the time to write this. No tour guide? We have been guiding our guest through Brooklyn for almost 8 years now. It was the needs of that group also to finish on time while doing 20 miles through Brooklyn. The group stopped at a market for a break but sampling local produce?
We also do not usually do tours for 11 people - very rare that we have groups more than 6 people. Other tour companies in the "city" book upwards of 20 people and simply ride their guests along the waterfront or across the Brooklyn Bridge and back. I hope you noticed the efforts that we take to take you to many different places in Brooklyn, riding through multiple neighborhoods- this is an effort that sets us apart from any other company.

Very late posting this but had an absolutely fantastic bike tour through Brooklyn!
I spent a few weeks travelling around the Canada and US border, and I can say this was one of the absolute highlights of the trip. Had a great day and cannot recommend enough😁

Frank was an amazing guide. He showed us all the best spots in Brooklyn as well as some places only for the locals. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the history of his city made us wish we could have extend our tour for hours. Highly recommended!
Response from Host, May 2023
We hear this all the time and love that we do.... many locals also do our tours and enjoy the hidden gems and insightfulness. We take pride in the research that went into the tours over the past several years and hire our guides very carefully.
