This was amazing! Would definitely do it again! The crew was awesome. They had a man singing and playing the guitar. Sunset was beautiful and even got to help lift the sails. A must do for sure!

The young crew was great! The Captain offered great insight to all we saw. Saw some eagles. Heard of the challenges the lobster fishermen deal with. Great insight for this mountain man!! Helped raise a sail.

Beautiful experience would recommend it highly. Great views, the ship was smooth and it was very well organized.

The boat had way too many people on it. We were jam packed like sardines. For the cost of the ticket, it was unacceptable to put that many people on one boat. We suspect they combined two trips because they canceled the later one due to weather. In hindsight, For $100 more, we could’ve gone on a private charter and had a peaceful, unique experience. This was a waste of our time and money. On a positive note: the crew was nice.

This is an excellent way to get a view of the beauty of the surroundings from the water. A great experience.

Very crowded, uncomfortable seating, poor sound system, could barely hear the captain so missed most of what he said. —not worth the money

Very nice sunset cruise around the harbor!
Comfortable seating with lots of room for everyone. Loved having a guitarist onboard!
Craig_A, Oct 2025
Enjoyed the ship, the crew and of course the path of travel. I felt that number of passengers decreased the sailing experience.

Boarding was quick and finding seats easy. Watching them put up sails was fun. Scenery was beautiful. We even saw a bald eagle. Crew was friendly.

Try to arrive alittle early ,because of parking, very busy and towards the fall bring a jacket, captain was informative

If you’ve never been on a boat before you probably would have enjoyed more. Not enough wind for the sails. The crew was fantastic though. Slowly touring around the bay only seeing a few seal heads pop up

Overall, a nice ride around the harbor. Could have had a little more narration to make it more interesting, but still quite enjoyable.
Kerry_F, Oct 2025
I thought he would go further out of the bay and seemed short because he lingered and the bathrooms were so bad I had to cover my nose. But it was a pleasant experience to be on the boat and staff was great

The event should have been canceled due to temperature, wind, and swells. It was a miserable expensive experience that was cut short by the elements. It was mentioned that the next days tours had already been canceled to expected weather conditions. I believe they took advantage of the our cruise being in port that day.

The crew was polite, patient, and knowledgeable! I thought we’d sail around more, but the sites were so picturesque!!

Weather was sunny and still. The captain elected to sit becalmed with (mostly) full sail rather than motor about. There was so much to see in the area, all we saw were distant island silhouettes and lobster pot floats. In addition, be aware that tickets were available at the pier for 40% less than Viator. For a group our size, we could have/should have chartered private.

Since there was little wind and a storm coming we sailed in circles in the harbor. We also got back to the dock in a little over an hour well before the sunset. The trip was supposed to be 1.5 - 2 hrs which was supposed to be a sunset cruise.
The crew was very nice and the guitarist was good but it was not much of a sailing cruise.

Crew was great. The venture was quite lame. No one announced that they served beverages. It was the quietest boat ride I have ever been on.
Hilary_G, Sep 2025
The crew is not very nice nor friendly. A little too crowded to be a really nice experience. Ship itself is beautiful, ride is pretty, but trip not super memorable.
Kristina_V, Sep 2025
Relaxing and smooth sailing. Friendly staff and music was great. He sang all modern songs and I loved it.

The captain and the crew were very friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this excursion. Very nice!

The windjammer tour was a big disappointment. We paid $140 for two us and all we did is go in a circle. No history was talked about. It was all about putting up the sails & a tour of lobster traps. Very boring and so overpriced. Would not recommend this tour. Big tourist trap!

Itinerary said drinks would be available but none offered. Felt like we floated in the bay for an hour.

A great way to see the harbor. The clean ocean smells and sounds (no power, just sails) took me back 70 years to all the time spent on the water with my dad as he taught me about the birds, buoys, boating.

It was an amazing experience and a beautiful day !
The captain and crew were awesome an very helpful.

The rainy weather put a damper on the experience
Crew was skilled and friendly
Speaker system needs uodate

Disappointed in the experience. We had expectations of seeing more of the coastline. Also, the boat was very crowded, and the seating was far from ideal. The entertainment was enjoyable. There was not much wind in the sails that evening, but for what we paid, we would not recommend.
Betty_W, Sep 2025
The ship was overcrowded. With the need to sell beverages in the center of the ship the view at eye level was mostly belt buckles for those who wanted to sit.
Other than that, all the sailors did a fine job with the job at hand. Next time I’d probably choose to go on a smaller boat to hopefully see beyond the bodies.
Martin_H, Sep 2025
Very good day on the water. The crew was very enjoyable to watch. I could tell they were very detailed to their individual duties.
The great weather makes it even more enjoyable, maybe a little more breezy for sailing.
Thanks for the experience.
Dawn_M, Sep 2025
No narrative about the islands and no instructions on restroom options or beverages. The ship literally posted in one spot and circled for at least an hour. The ride was cut short 15 mins. Would not recommend this option especially for the price. Folks around us were also very disappointed.

Prepare for cold once you are on water.
Bringing binoculars is a good idea.
