Patrick is the best! He is so knowledgeable! We highly recommend this adventure! The scenery was breathtaking and the bikes were high quality. We will be back!
Patrick, the ebike business owner, was excellent in terms of getting us fitted and set up for the bikes, as well as instruct us on their use and safety rules.
Wonderful Experience! Patrick made sure we had everything we needed for a successful day (detail map for each group, helmets, zipper bags for belongings and bike locks). Not every e-bike is the same and he made sure we were trained and comfortable before going out. No issues with the battery even after 27 miles. These bikes were amazing and want one now 🤣
This was a wonderful experience. The E bikes were super high-quality and very easy to use. It made touring Acadia such a delight.
Excellent experience with MDI e-bikes. Great info on trails to use and level of difficulty. Great well maintained e-bikes. Would definitely use MDI e-bikes again.
Patrick was fantastic. Texted us day before to make sure we were good, and was prompt with answers to our questions. Having been to other crowded NPs we were concerned about traffic. None at 7:30am. He got us on the carriage road early, clear instructions and let us know what others had trouble with. E-bikes were the best! He called them Cadillac of the mountain, easy to use. Ages 62 to 25 and everyone had a blast. I would give Patrick a 10 but you only allow 5 stars.

We had a remarkable experience with our E bikes in Acadia National Park. Patrick, our setup man, did a fantastic job explaining how to use his wonderful bikes and how to do it safely while still having a lot of fun. His attention to detail to get out of everyone setup comfortably at the beginning was impressive. We will definitely book that trip again.
Highly recommend - Patrick was very careful to get us all set up on the bikes just right - height, helmets and test runs were carefully considered to maximum our safety. The bikes were new and top notch & easy to use - best bikes we saw out on the carriage roads! He also gave us a map with recommendations on a route to follow based on our skill level. I would rent from Patrick again & would recommend him to anyone coming to the area!

Book this. Dont think twice. Excellent quality bikes . Patrick fitted us perfectly for our bikes, gave thorough instruction and route suggestion with map! He got us out and riding quickly. A quality bike makes ALL the difference.
It is a lot of fun and the e-bike allows you to go further into Acadia than you could on foot. We explored 28 miles in a few short hours. Patrick also was super helpful even helping us re-schedule beforehand due to questionable weather- loved it!
These bikes were better than any other e-bike we came across. The turbo made for effortless effort going up hill.
Patrick is totally hands on with his bikes, which are the best we’ve ever ridden. Incredible on steep grades. He gave us a thorough tutorial on the bikes and had us do a practice loop so he could be sure they were properly fitted. He then provided us with a map & route that suited our level of experience & sense of adventure. What an amazing day on the carriage trails in Acadia!!
The owner was great! Lots of help with routing and how to use the bikes. He was really friendly! It was our first time on ebikes and it was so easy! We had a great time exploring! We saw several other groups at the same time, and the Specialized bikes we rode looked newer and nicer. The storage bag on the bike was a good size. I bought 4 shirts at the Jordan Pond House I had plenty of room for them, a map, water bottle, bug spray, phone and a few misc things. It is a great way to see a lot of the park! Tips: make reservations for lunch at Jordan Pond House to avoid the wait, bring bug spray, I wish my phone had been on a lanyard around my neck to take more pics, it was beautiful!
We give Patrick an A+. This was our favorite event at Acadia. Patrick assured everyone and set up all the bikes for maximum enjoyment. The bikes were exceptional quality and cared for. He mapped out the trips for each participants skill and comfort level. Best experience during our trip.
Patrick was very accommodating, easy to work with, and the bikes looked like they just came off of the factory floor. All around a great time.
Patrick was very organized and was ready for the group when we arrived in the morning. The bikes were in excellent condition and he made sure everyone was properly fitted for the bikes and helmets before we headed out on the carriage roads.
We road to Jordan’s house and arrived about 10:30a. The restaurant opened at 11a and we enjoyed a wonderful lunch out on the lawn before biking back our starting point at Hulls Cove visitor center. I would highly recommend this company!
E bikes are great way to see Acadia national Park via its carriage roads. You get to see a lot of the park and get some exercise but you cover a lot more ground than if you are walking, running or riding a regular bike. My wife and I spent a week in Maine with a few days in Portland and the rest of the time in the Bar Harbor area and we both said the E bike ride was the highlight of the trip. The owner of the E bike business is in his second year and he was both helpful and friendly. I’m glad we got to support the small business.

My husband and I rented e-bikes from Patrick on September 10th, 2025. It was the first time either of us had been on an e-bike and I have to admit I had some trepidation about doing it. But Patrick talked us through the whole process and took great care to make sure that our bikes were fitted to to us and the seats adjusted correctly He even got me a shorter seat as I couldn't reach the ground even with the regular seat adjusted all the way down. The same care was provided to make sure our helmets were adjusted to fit well. He explained how the bikes worked and let us take a test drive around the parking lot before setting out for the carriage trails at Acadia. The bikes made short work of the hills we encountered and it made for a beautiful day of seeing the sights without having to deal with all the traffic on the roads.
We were really impressed by the quality of Patrick's bikes and how well he takes care of them and his customers to make sure we had a good experience. We would definitely rent from him again when we return to Maine!
