I would categorize the hiking as a moderate exertion level. Uphill, rocky with alot of tree roots to walk through. The reward was great though with spectacular views at the top or beautiful coves. Hannah was a great guide. Very knowledgeable, informative and enthusiastic about the park. We got to see so much more than doing it on our own. Only criticism was in the description of what was included was, “ a selection of beverages.” The only thing available was a jug of water. Other than that, it was a great and memorable day.

Craig was knowledgeable about the history of Acadia National Park and allowed us to actually experience several of the park’s unique features. We ventured out to Thunder Hole, Hunter Beach, the nature garden and of course Cadillac Mountain, as well as stopping along the way, for many beautiful views. All the while learning the history of the area. Then we were surprised to receive the opportunity of eating Lobster Roll at the end of our tour! I accidentally left my phone in the SUV and thankfully Craig found it and ME! He returned it, almost before I was panicked that I had lost it. Whew! So thankful and much appreciated. Really a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful experience with Ralph as our private tour guide in Acadia. From the very beginning, he was personable, engaging, and genuinely interested in getting to know us and what we wanted from our day. One of the things that made the tour especially memorable was how Ralph connected different parts of his own life and experiences in Maine to the places we visited. Those personal stories added so much depth and made the tour feel like we were experiencing Acadia with someone who truly loves and knows the area. Ralph never made us feel like we were simply following a set itinerary. He gave us options, asked questions, listened to our interests, and adjusted the day accordingly. It felt truly personalized to our family rather than like a standard tour. Most importantly, Ralph was incredibly considerate of my dad’s mobility issues. We never felt rushed or pressured to keep up. He was patient, accommodating, and made sure everyone could enjoy the experience comfortably. We would highly recommend Ralph to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely thoughtful guide. He helped make our time in Acadia special and gave us an experience we’ll remember for a long time.
