This driving tour starts at the Hulls Cove Visitors Center Parking Lot. Before you go you have to set up the tour and get the tour app. Please check your ticket and texts. You have to download the app before arriving, the signal at the park is not dependable.

- Eagle Lake OverlookPark Loop Rd, Bar Harbor, ME 04609, USA
The tour ends at Eagle Lake Overlook, just before Cadillac summit road. From here you can either go up to the summit if you have a ticket booked or exit the park, as you will be near the end and exit and completed the park loop.

The self guided tour did not work after following all the steps. Going to the check in station was a waste of time.

Is a great audio tour with options of where to stop. The real problem is extremely crowded and absolutely no place to park we were unable to finish the tour.

When you’re ready to drive from the Visitor Center Parking lot, you’ll punch in your code to start the audio tour. Since we needed to add Viator and WalknTours, it took us some searching to find the code. We called the phone number, were given the code and away we went!

Make sure you have access to program. Not easy to get access to change date. Date schedule had heavy rain and not suitable for the tour.

For some reason it didn't keep track of where we were. It may have been due to user error, but I followed all the instructions given. I was disappointed.

This was perfect for me traveling solo with my dog and older cat. It helped me anticipate what was coming up on the one way Park Loop road. I was able to find cool shady parking and take short 5 min jaunts from the car to beautiful places. I appreciated the privacy of my own car and being able to start/stop the recording.

Very informative & helpful. Be certain to download BEFORE entering the park. There is poor cell service in the park & will be impossible to download.

The app worked flawlessly and helped make our day in Arcadia Park a memorable day. It leaves it up to you to visit a stop or go on to the next stop on the tour. The narration was informative and add some history when possible. It kept us informed when a stop was coming up which included info on parking.

First, I could not load the tour inside the park. When I went outside, it loaded right up. Very good speaking voice and content. I stopped many times and the tour continued. Parking was a major problem and some hikes were on rugged ground.
Being on your own has to be better than subject to the Explorer schedule or a tour bus like Oly's.
Very good purchase.

I’m sorry to say we were unable to get our guide to connect/load. It stopped working after the first destination. May have been partially operator failure but it was a waste of money. We did receive a text to download another app but were suspicious of it.

You do need to get the WalknTours app to take the tour. WalknTours is the campany and app that runs the tour :). I"m sorry you did not get the app and were not able to take the tour! I'm happy to refund you, and for those reading, if you have issues and want a refund please email me at info@walkntours.com. The Signal in Acadia is very bad so it's suggested in the ticket to download it early to avoid any issues :) Once again sorry you could not downoad it. This is a tiny company, it's just me!
