This was a fantastic experience learning about Greek traditional dances from different regions. Our guides were wonderful – knowledgeable and great teachers. It was so much fun to learn these dances with other travellers. I would recommend this dance class to anyone. Very professional and authentic.

What a wonderful, fun dance class with Tania and Kostas. Dancing on a hill with the Acropolis in front of us was the ultimate, enough to want to shout "Opa" during the the dancing. We learned 5-6 dances and became a little community with all the
participants. Thank you, Tania and Kostas for your fun dance lessons. Everyone should do this on their trip to Athens!!

Tania's class was very interesting and full of cultural insights. Tania and Kostas made us feel at ease right away, and welcomed us very warmly. Above all, we had a lot of fun! Tania prepared us so well that after the class we were able to dance in a tavern like authentic locals! highly recommended, if we visit again Athens we will definitely come back.

Tania and her partner were fantastic. We learned 6-7 traditional Greek dances and their history as well. We could see the Acropolis from the beautiful, quiet church and park where we danced. It was a highlight of my 15-day trip to Greece. I’d do it again and recommend it to everyone!

Great fun! A wonderful introduction to both the dances and music of Greece. Tania and Kostas hit every sense, engaged the intellect, memory, and imagination. Instruction was full of stories, clear, easy to follow to feel successful, and repeated enough to develop some muscle memory. I was even able to recognize some dances when later visiting Dora Stratou theatre. Very thoughtful and prepared, providing mosquito repellent and a pleasant surprise for the taste buds. I look forward to reviewing the dances at home, enabled by the souvenir certificate and YouTube summary sheet. A highlight experience of my visit to Athens! Thank you, Tania and Kostas!!!

Tania and Kostas are the loveliest people and excellent dance teachers. I cannot express how much my family and I enjoyed our time with them (ages 13 and 11). We learned several dances and had the most amazing time! You do not have to know how to dance, you will pick it up and it’s just a very fun group activity. Definitely one of our most memorable times in Athens. I highly recommend this experience.

I had many exciting and enjoyable experiences during my five days in Athens. But this dance course was definitely the highlight of the trip. I can recommend it without hesitation to anyone who is enthusiastic about at least one of the following: dancing, listening to Greek music, being in an idyllic place in nature, being together with lovely people, laughing together, learning interesting things about Athens. I can get excited about all of this and was therefore more than satisfied.
I particularly liked how Tania and her husband Kóstos managed to make us all feel very comfortable as a group after a short time, both myself and another solo traveler as well as a couple. The individual differences in previous dance experience were taken into account. Some of the dances were challenging, but not overwhelming - and if they were, we were able to laugh about it together.
As if all this wasn't convincing enough, there were also QR codes as a bonus, which lead to YouTube playlists with videos of the dances we learned, and we ourselves were recorded on video several times while dancing. These videos make it even easier to remember this course forever. Thank you Tania and Kóstos for this experience. One can definitely feel that you love what you do with these classes.

We had a wonderful dance lesson with Tania. We learned a few different dances and it was so fun and enjoyable! Tania is friendly and passionate.She explains the dance steps clearly and tells the story behind the music. Plus, her friend recorded our dances and taking photos, which is extra memory to keep. I would highly recommend this class.

We took the traditional dance class in September 2023 and really enjoyed it. The experience started with a short walk up the Philopappos Hill where we got some information about the noteworthy things to see (e.g. Socrates’ Prison) and the traditional dance festivals in Greece.
Afterwards we settled in a low populated spot for the dance class. It was only the two of us so we had the privilege of getting a private lesson. Tania, Alexandra and Konstantinos were extremely friendly and provided us with a super fun experience, learning various Greek dances from different isles. Accommodating to the places we would be visiting later on our holiday, we learned some of the common dances there, ranging from simple steps to Cretan dances with kicks and quick steps. Throughout the class we were encouraged a lot and they adapted the difficulty to our level. We were also provided with plenty of water and received a nice certificate of participation afterwards, with QR codes to a Greek traditional playlist and an overview of the dances we learned as well as where they are danced most often.
On the way back, we had some stunning views on the Acropolis and Pantheon. We really enjoyed the evening and would advise everyone who visits Athens to participate in this unique vacation activity!
