We had an incredible experience with our driver Aggelos. Not only did we go to all major landmarks, we also had time to do some optional spots. Our driver was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! He used to be part of the presidential guard during his service years and gave us such an incredible inside scoop on what that was like, while he took us to the changing of the guards. Additionally, he was very respectful, supplied water, and was such a cool person to meet. This was our best tour we did in all of Greece. Thanks again! - Nick + Amanda

Our driver was nice but not enough historical detail. He drove us around & pointed out the different monuments & areas. He would ask us if we wanted to get out & take photos. We only had 4 stops with the last & longer one being the touristy shopping area. We only did this tour because we had limited time & we didn’t want to do a tour in the hot afternoon. It was nice seeing the acropolis & other buildings at night but I would recommend a longer & more inclusive tour with a guide.

Our tour guide, Kostas, arrived right on time
He was professional, knowledgeable, with great sense of humor and accommodating. We changed itinerary couple of times, but he was able to show us all we wanted to see and more. We had the most wonderful tour with the most kind and knowledgeable guide, Manos. He tailored the trip to our needs and gave us a fascinating Greek history lesson as we saw the sights. We asked if there were any tours of the shore line or port area, perhaps the Riviera section, but there are not any at this time. We Hope you'll add some of those in future options. It would surely be something we'd have enjoyed, even as an optional add on to the existing tour.

Our half‑day tour of Athens with Vasilis was outstanding from start to finish. The company and the driver were exceptional.
Billy, our driver was very helpful getting my wife, who has MS in and out of the van. He was willing to alter the route as we had seen some of the sites. He was very knowledgeable about the history and events about Greece. He made the tour a great experience. I would recommend Billy to those who are considering a 1/2 day tour or a full day.

Myself and 3 cousins all 70ish in age experienced the most amazing tour. Our half day tour was truly filled with rich history and was physically challenging which we embraced. Athens being one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world gave us a chance to experience the history and culture of Greece. Peter, our wonderful Athens guide, took us to many historic spots in the city, and shared his knowledge of ancient Greek History, Gods and Goddesses, and more recent history. He was fun, cynical, knowledgeable, engaging and funny. It was a very hot day, so he made sure the air conditioning was turned up and the water was cold. We laughed and learned for five hours that sped by. We got plenty of time at the Parthenon, and other sites, and now we know enough to spend more time in Greece on a future trip. We highly recommend this tour.

Some big strengths were that the tour guide had excellent communication in advance of and during our tour (where to and when to meet, etc). He also provided us with water on a very hot day. However, it wasn't a guided tour. We were dropped off at the several places for an hour or so each (the Acropolis, the Plaka neighborhood) to explore on our own rather than guided through each of these locations.

At the Acropolis, only a licensed guide may accompany visitors and provide commentary inside the archaeological area.
Plaka is a pedestrian neighbourhood with no safe or legal parking nearby, especially for a larger vehicle such as a minivan. For this reason, the driver must drop guests off at the closest accessible point and remain with the vehicle while they explore the area independently.

Our guide/driver Aggelos was great! Super knowledgeable and fantastic personality. He gave us the perfect amount of insight at each of our stops and let us roam around on our own for as long as we wanted/needed. He certainly guided us on how long each stop should last, but never set deadlines. He kept reminding us that this was our time to use as we wanted. He shared some unique insights about himself and his time in the Greece military as a guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier, which we had the opportunity to see with him standing next to us. What a great day privately touring Athens!
