I was really looking forward to the Best of Athens half-day tour, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The guide barely spoke throughout the tour and offered very little information or engagement. For most of the time, I felt like I was completely on my own, which defeated the purpose of booking a guided experience.
I spent a significant amount of money for both my sister and me to attend. Sadly, she wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t join, but even so, I expected a much higher-quality experience, especially for the price.
Overall, I left feeling frustrated and let down. I truly wish I could get my time and money back. I would not recommend this tour based on my experience.

This was the best experience in Greece! Our driver, Kostas, was fun, informative, and efficient. We took the 4 hour tour and visited the balcony of Greece, Olympic Stadium, and the Parthenon. He also took us to the old part of Athens and recommended 2 wonderful restaurants, one for lunch with a rooftop view of the Acropolis, and one for dinner on our own later that evening. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids, and everyone had a great time! It was 5 star service everywhere we went! Highly recommend for your time in Greece!

We took this tour as an addition to our free (included) Viking Athens trip. This tour was a great complement to what Viking covered.
Our driver stopped and let us hop out of the van so we could see better and get great photos. He also took us up to the Acropolis,
Whereas Viking only drove past the Acropolis.

We had Vasilis Milinas and he was amazing! We had already been to some of the major attractions so he took us to the changing of the guards, the Olympic Stadium and to Lycabettus Hill where we had an amazing view of the Acropolis and the city of Athens! For our first day in Athens it was a good trip. Vasilis was punctual messaged us he was waiting for us drove us around showed the highlights. Gave good introduction and information. At Acropolis we did not realize we had to go by ourselves, but he had given all the info and checked on us by messaging if everything was ok. We missed going to the Roman Theater, he offered to wait for us if we wanted to go, he made stops at the important places after giving information gave us time to go and take pictures. Vasilis made sure we got a good experience. He explained everything about Changing if guards. Thank you Vasilis. One small note for a half day your it was a little pricey.

We had an absolutely wonderful private tour in Athens. Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. As two women traveling together, we felt extremely safe and comfortable with him throughout the day.

Cannot recommend highly enough.
Vasilis messaged us 30 minutes before pick up to tell us he was ready at our convenience. We were ready so he picked us up 5 minutes later which meant we entered the Acropolis before the crowds.
Fantastic tour with real insight and we left feeling we had a great feel for Athens.
Asked about a restaurant recommendation for great seafood and he gave one even agreeing to take us there at the end of the tour. 5 stars doesn't cover it. Really exceptional service

Our travel guide/driver was exceptionally knowledgeable in everything Athens and surrounding areas. We loved learning through him the history of Marathon, Greece ~ every temple ~every structure + all the importance of Athens. Vasillis was FANTASTIC!! We give him 100 stars review!
