Elias is the best. Great communication when it came to pick up. The tour was fun and informative. It didn't feel rushed, and I was provided the best hospitality. Drinks were provided and replenished. He was accommodating and took the best photos. I wished I booked the longer tour. My friend and I had an awesome time. Appreciate the recommendations on where to go for dinner after the tour!

Petros is an outstanding driver with a wealth of Athenian knowledge— he was born in Athens. We highly recommend Petros because he listened to us and for 5 hours we saw ALL that we wished to see and then had a small local restaurant lunch. SUPERB. Myself and 3 cousins all 70ish in age experienced the most amazing tour. Our half day tour was truly filled with rich history and was physically challenging which we embraced. Athens being one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world gave us a chance to experience the history and culture of Greece. Our tour guide Vasilis (Billy) was knowledgeable, informative, professional and very helpful. We enjoyed every aspect of the tour because of his expertise.

Fun and Fascinating

Peter, our wonderful Athens guide, took us to many historic spots in the city, and shared his knowledge of ancient Greek History, Gods and Goddesses, and more recent history. He was fun, cynical, knowledgeable, engaging and funny. It was a very hot day, so he made sure the air conditioning was turned up and the water was cold. We laughed and learned for five hours that sped by. We got plenty of time at the Parthenon, and other sites, and now we know enough to spend more time in Greece on a future trip. We highly recommend this tour.

Four Hour Athens Tour

Some big strengths were that the tour guide had excellent communication in advance of and during our tour (where to and when to meet, etc). He also provided us with water on a very hot day. However, it wasn't a guided tour. We were dropped off at the several places for an hour or so each (the Acropolis, the Plaka neighborhood) to explore on our own rather than guided through each of these locations.

We are sorry that the tour format did not fully match your expectations. This experience includes a professional English-speaking tour driver rather than a licensed tour guide. The driver provides historical information during the journey and from outside the sites. At the Acropolis, only a licensed guide may accompany visitors and provide commentary inside the archaeological area. Plaka is a pedestrian neighbourhood with no safe or legal parking nearby, especially for a larger vehicle such as a minivan. For this reason, the driver must drop guests off at the closest accessible point and remain with the vehicle while they explore the area independently. We appreciate your feedback and will continue making the tour format as clear as possible before each experience.

Our guide/driver Aggelos was great! Super knowledgeable and fantastic personality. He gave us the perfect amount of insight at each of our stops and let us roam around on our own for as long as we wanted/needed. He certainly guided us on how long each stop should last, but never set deadlines. He kept reminding us that this was our time to use as we wanted. He shared some unique insights about himself and his time in the Greece military as a guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier, which we had the opportunity to see with him standing next to us. What a great day privately touring Athens!

I had about an 8 hr layover in Athens on the way to Mykonos and decided to try to make the best of it with a private tour. Elias picked me up 15 minutes early in a nice and comfortable E-class. He helped with my bag and opened and closed the car door all day. We got all the main highlights covered in great time. He checked on me often to gauge what level of chatting/sightseeing/historical background would be good, since I’d shared that i got minimal sleeping on the long journey over. Kind, professional, comfortable, knowledgeable, and punctual - highly recommend.

We had a private tour and an air-conditioned Mercedes coupe which was especially nice since it was 95° out. The tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the city and the history behind all of the places that we went. And for the last hour and a half he let us customize the tour andselect what we wanted to see after we saw all of the highlights. He even bought us coffee. This is a great tour and well worth the price.

Wonderful Introduction to Athens

I was a little confused about booking this tour in terms of getting tickets for the Acropolis and arranging our drop off at the hotel, but the company was communicative, flexible, and understanding. Our driver, Elias, was also very communicative and prompt picking us up at the port. He drove us all around the city, explaining in detail about what we would see at each stop. He also took several pictures of us at each stop, offered to get us a coffee, and recommended several places to eat. This is a great introduction to Athens, setting us up for a wonderful stay.

A great local experience from a local!

A must do! Having a private car/van take you around all sites was efficient and allows you to appreciate the site rather than being exhausted from the walking . Which was still intense, especially to the Parthenon and around museum. Out tour guide know Athens and the sites better than we could have hoped and told us stories that understood and were helpful. We were able to ask questions about the site but also about dining, culture and anything! Kostas was so friendly and wonderful we felt we have a friend here.

Great trip by Vasilis (Billy)in an air conditioned Mercedes van. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. They even sorted out the tickets to the Acropolis. Highly recommended.
