Interesting information…thought it felt long for the number of sites/stops, meaning it felt like we should have covered more turf. Food was pretty good. Liked the first 2 stops (Red Red Wine and Harry Browne’s), third stop was a bit too heavy (pasta and cream sauce with crab meat). Dessert of Lemon sorbet was very good! This is coming from someone who has been to Annapolis a number of times, so maybe my expectations are a bit higher. :-)

It's a walking tour. Very deliciously, filling tour! Caroline was so knowledgeable about Annapolis and her restaurant choices were perfect.

The four food stops were excellent. Carolyn is very knowledgeable about the town, the history and the food. She made a point of connecting with each of us on the tour.

Bits and Bites

We enjoyed walking the statehouse area and really liked the stops for food and more history. We had a congenial group and a hospitable guide in Carolyn. We enjoyed our Sunday trek and the good food.

Nice mix of history and food

Kim_S, Jul 2024
Great mix of food and history. Carolyn was VERY knowledgeable about all thing’s Annapolis and we loved all of the stories she told. Great choices of restaurants and food. Did not like that we had to walk for an hour before first food stop. Tips: please slow down. It’s a walking tour and you speed walked most of the time when there were both older adults and young children who struggled to keep up. Also, no need for the actress accent. This made it difficult to understand what you were saying at times. Regular voice was great. Loved the tour; highly recommend!

A perfect 6-7 Km walk with some food and plenty of stops.

We picked a perfect day to walk Annapolis with Carolyn, our guide. We loved all the history and all the food. It was a 1 pm start time and after walking for about 1:20 min we started the feasting. All the choices were scrumptious. We had plenty of stops for toilet breaks. I would definitely do this again. The starting point is the visitor center with nice air conditioning and clean toilets.

We had a wonderful time walking around Annapolis with Carolyn. She was extremely informative about the history of the area, told some enjoyable stories, mixed in a sense of humor, along with good food. A beautiful weekend in Annapolis.

Combination of history and deliciousness

JANE_B, May 2024
The tour was a great combination of walking and learning about historically significant places in Annapolis and great food stops. We tasted delicious food at 3 places and then finished by having amazing local ice cream. I would highly recommend the tour and our guide, Carolyn, was great. Come hungry!

An Excellent tour - you'll come away full of knowledge and food

Andrew_S, Oct 2023
Our tour guide, Carolyn, was absolutely excellent. She was knowledgeable, attentive to the size of the group and extremely friendly. I highly recommend taking the tour with her.

Wonderful way to spend the afternoon in Annapolis

Janis_S, Jul 2021
The buildings were fantastic, especially the one across from St Anne Episcopal Church. We enjoyed the food, too. It broke up the tour in nice way and we got to know the group better in conversation. The guide was fantastic...

Highly recommend

This was such a great experience overall! The tour stopped at four different places and provided some great food. Come hungry and might want to plan on a light dinner or dinner later. You will leave full. We learned a lot from our wonderful guide. She shared so much history, answered all of our questions and clearly loves her job. It was a fun thing to do to get the layout of the town and see some things we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommend!

Great experience

Average Food Tour Review

Pattu P, Oct 2019
I have been on a handful of food tours in the US & Canada and this one I would rate as mediocre. The amount of walking was just right. The highlights on the history of Annapolis were good. However, the places we had samplers could be refined. Harry Brown's was excellent - Maryland She Soup & Crab empadada (excellent apps & atmosphere & water) ?? crowded establishment - raw oyster & 1 ounce of some type of beer - I would recommend to find another establishment with a more unique appetizer and add a specialty cocktail. Irish Pub - 3 samplers which were too much as most of us could not finish (water). I would recommend 2 appetizers and an Irish coffee. Red Red Wine - pizza & cake & water (tasty unique pizza) I would recommend a sampler of red or white glass of wine. I think the tour would have been better if another establishment offered dessert instead of a combo at the last one.
