This was an excellent informative tour of the Old Town of Albuquerque. There is much history packed into the Old Town area that we were not aware of. The tour was also very fun with anecdotes along the way. The tour did not include a lot of walking, and we could sit often if we liked. Our tour guide Emily was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. We did have a little difficulty finding the meeting point. The TOURS sign is toward the back of a square containing several shops.

The guide is very knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality. The tour was interactive and we were pleasantly surprised to witness and taste aspects of the Afropanamanian culture.

I took this tour with my wife and my cousin who lives in the area. Our guide was Vince and we thought he was exceptional. He animated his stories of the history of the area and was exceptionally entertaining. I found that the time of the tour passed very quickly. Vince gave our group of 6 ample opportunities to sit and listen, so there were plenty of breaks in walking. Vince held up historic photos in front of their current location which provided a great reference point for his stories. If you love, or even just like history, I highly recommend this tour. This is especially true if you love stories of the "Old West." My only suggestion to Vince would be to remind him that some of the restaurants he recommends are closed on Mondays. But plenty others were open.

Misty had great historical information and images to share, told in an animated and enthusiastic way. My only critique is that I would have liked a little more walking and a little less standing. For example, we could've walked to the statue of Don Fransisco Cuervo y Valdes, and worked our way down, instead of just staying in the square. I learned a lot and over all it was a fun experience!

This was a fun tour of old town Albuquerque with our great guide Misty. We were a group of friends visiting the city together and we appreciated her stories about the colorful people and history of this area. The old town is not particularly large in terms of walking and I would recommend arriving early to find parking. Misty was so enthusiastic and we enjoyed our tour.

What a great way to become acquainted with the history of Albuquerque! Our tour guide chose prominent citizens from the town and personalized them with a story from their life that related to that time period. We also learned about the existing historical buildings and how the building of them changed over time. A fun way to catch a glimpse of New Mexico!

Highly recommend this tour! My tour guide, Misty, was a hoot. Her presentation was polished, fascinating, and so entertaining. She also provided us plenty of seating opportunities and was very accommodating to my group. Even a local Albuquerquean could learn a lot from this tour- book now!

The Old Town Albuquerque tour with Emily was fantastic! We learned so much about Old Town and it was a great tour. My husband and I were the only ones on the tour so we really had a very personal experience. Emily was very knowledgeable about the history, architecture and people of Old Town Albuquerque. Misty rocks! Very knowledgeable about the area, and obviously has a passion for her work.
However, the length of the tour could/should be shortened. This is NO reflection on Misty. Small children were definitely losing interest…not sure if I’d recommend to young families.
