There are many steep parts to the itinerary. Get an e-bike if you are not fit. The wind can also pose an obstacle.

The one star is NOT related to The poor experience was not related to Unlimited Bikes they are top notch. This was due to VIATOR. It was a complete cluster finding reservation, having to call VIATOR 4 times in order to recieve confirmation and tickets, even though the charge you immediately.
The best help we received was from the company itself. My bike ended up with a broken chain, this happens, but they were very quick to come assist us.
My advice, reserve your bike from Unlimited Bikes and NOT Viator. The staff are excellent, helpful, and the patience they had to resolve our reservation exceeded expectations.
Again DOT NOT rent from VIATOR go to UNLIMITED BIKES for the best experience.

Your name is misleading. There's a Golden Gate Bridge Bike rental place and unfortunately people go there which is 1/2 away from the Wharf!
The facility was dirty, my bike kept changing gears, my husband's bike broke 10 on our ride, we did not get a bike lock so we were unable to go into any stores.

Awesome experience! The whole family loved biking to Sausalito! Unlimited biking were pros. Especially Sadiq! We had everything we needed in minutes and we were off! Would def recommend this company!

I had a serious accident and when we called the office and told them I needed to go to the emergency room, they said we had to return the bikes beforehand, as they refused to come and collect them for us.

I went to Golden Gate Bridge Bike Rentals at 2157 Lombarb st. Apparently this is not the shop where my reservation was and that there was an imposter shop with the same name. I could not locate where that shop was with my reservation. There was no address info in any of the email confirmation, theres only one Gold Gate Bridge Bike Rental on Google and I was at the wrong shop. Wasted $45, no refund was provided.

My husband and I visited San Francisco from Houston. Knowing we only planned to be there for the day we wanted bikes so we could move around the city at our own pace. Golden Gate Bike Rentals was by far the least expensive option. The bikes were in great shape. The gentleman that assisted us was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area. He readily offered suggestions on the best routes to see the bridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our time! I will say this. If you’re not an avid rider, getting across the bridge is work. As a matter of fact getting around around the city is a great workout. We had to walk our bikes uphill more than once and met several other bikers doing the same. If you’re up for the challenge it’s totally worth the effort though. We went from the bike shop to the bridge, to Pacific Heights, and back to the bike shop in just a couple hours.

Bike ride across Golden Gate on July 4th was beautiful. Round trip from Ghiradelli to Mill Valley was approx 28+ miles. Ride was completed in under 4 hrs. We were a party of 7 and it wad our first time using electric bikes. Riding the slopes of San Francisco was effortless. Service was great

Great deal .Good price. Excellent service from a lovely member of staff. Bikes needed a bit of love. Gears weren't quite right and one threw its chain off a couple of times. Not a big deal and we loved our ride around this amazing city.

La balade est magnifique le faire à vélo c'est vraiment bien par contre le prestataire loueur de vélo aucun conseil pas de carte le service était minimum

Traverser le golden gate en vélo est une expérience sympathique en famille.
Dommage que ma réservation n'est pas été respectée en sa totalité car j'avais demandé 3 VTT et 1 vélo électrique que je n'ai pas eu chez le prestataire unlimited bikes.
Cela a un peu gâché le parcours.
Il faut que vous rajoutiez le choix des vélos électriques sur votre site car malgré mes 3 appels passés auprès de votre service client qui m'a garanti que je pourrai changer ma réservation auprès du prestataire le jour J cela n a pas été le cas. C'est à revoir.

Es war ein unfassbar schönes Erlebnis mit dem Fahrrad die vorgeschlagene Route abzufahren. Alle waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das einzig negative waren tatsächlich die unbequemen Rennradsättel und die Nichtverfügbarkeit von Damenrädern.
