An Athens Eating Safari

The tour packed a lot of information and experiences into four hours, as well as delicious food. We visited an assortment of places, from a darling coffee shop that prepared coffee in the traditional Greek manner to a sit-down meal of plate after plate of delicious mezze. Our guide, Nicolette, was great and added tremendously to our enjoyment. We learned a lot about the food, but also the culture. A very worthwhile experience.

60th Birthday celebration

Our tour was amazing. Our guys Anesis was terrific. So much knowledge about all of our stops along the way . We truly felt special when we pulled up to all of the stops because of his Mercedes and he was dressed in a suit to make us feel important. He made a few extra stops along the way and made our tour fit to our needs. At the end of the tour we had an awesome meal at there own restaurant ( tour company) with a traditional Greek meal with all the bells and whistles . Overall I would have to say this was the only way to see all the special places that Athens has to offer . The highlight was during the changes the guard at the prime ministers place where he took us across the street right up to the guards and took pictures of us with them and everyone stood on the other side wondering who we were and why we were allowed to do this . Thank you again from all of us .

Informative and enjoyable Acropolis tour

We had a wonderful tour of the Acropolis with Helene. She was very knowledgeable and engaging and really brought the history of the site to life. The tour was carried out at a relaxed pace and we had time for photos. We went for the option that included the Acropolis Museum too and it was well worth it. The Excavation Museum is also included in the price. I was unsure whether the ticket collection point and the meeting point were at separate locations but I had a speedy response to my enquiry to confirm that it’s all in one location. All in all, a very good tour which I highly recommend for a comprehensive overview of the Acropolis.

Book this tour - you won't be disappointed!

Excellent tour of the Acropolis and Museum! Our guide Anna was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and brought a ton of her humor and energy (and a few Greek language lessons!) to the group. We were able to easily follow instructions using our headsets. Tour was well paced and gave us ample time to take in sights and photos at each stopping point. Highly recommend this tour and would definitely book another with Anna!

Great trip

Great day trip. Definitely preorder your brunch, they give the qr code on the bus. The actual lunch provided is around 1300. I did not need dinner after that lunch, but I had packed a power bar. Dinner stop is at 7. Same place as brunch. If you are going to do that then pre order The bus leaves from the train station. I got there 15 min early and the bus was already full, so get there earlier than that.

Visited the most important sites of Athens!

Alexander was a very knowledgeable driver and took me to the most important sites all through Athens – I even got to enjoy the changing of the guard! If I had understood this package better, I would've added an extra Guide to tour the major sites with me. Alexander gave me a lot of information before he dropped me off at each location, but I would have loved to have been guided in the actual destinations so for anyone booking this tour I would add that extra expense of a driver AND a guide. But Alexander did not disappoint and was very kind, accommodating, personable, and pleasant to spend the day with!

Next easy to do Acropolis

I chose the walking experience. I was admittedly nervous looking at the heights but this tour was perfect. Margarita did a great job telling Greek mythology stories, giving unique history facts while Ensign we made the trek at a leisurely pace. She pointed out great details. Anticipated questions and made everyone feel entertained.

Fun with Poseidon

Our guide Mirta (sp?) was fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable and so much fun. There was so much history, storytelling, and interesting sites to see. We were told about things currently going on in Greece along with the history of the places we drove through and stopped at. Loved the free time and the clear instructions. The van/bus was also very comfortable. It was a great experience and we were so happy we booked this tour.

Absolutely must do for first day here

From beginning to end, Vicki had us entertained, engaged, enlightened and educated. She was so knowledgeable and easy to listen to. She was a lovely person to spend the morning with and we can’t imagine it being one ounce better. Loved it and would highly recommend the tour.

John The Excavationer (?) was incredible. One of the best we’ve ever had … period. Enthusiastic and his knowledge and his communication skills were phenomenal. Not to mention entertaining. I can’t tell you how many times we chuckled and found ourselves laughing out loud. He’s a keeper. We highly recommend. We will be back.

Great Acropolis Tour

Unfortunately we got a bit lost getting to the meeting point, but our your guide waited for us. Our guide was exceptional. Her beautiful voice and her knowledge of the ruins was great. I wish I had a recording of it. She stopped quite often to give us all time to catch our breath telling us history at every turn. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great excursion with great food! The island of Aegina was beautiful. The lunch they served exceeded our expectations. Beer and wine flowed freely. We had the option to swim before lunch and to swim on the island of Agistri. It was a windy day but we had a great time!
