It was a great experience and we saw a lot. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. A lot of walking and you have to be careful of where you’re walking when it’s dark.

The tour was wonderful and the guide was fantastic. The tour was supposed to start at 7:00 pm but we didn’t get on the bus until close to 8:00. We had one bus driver, then switched to another bus. The bus driver was a horrible driver. Everyone on the tour was afraid we’d get in a wreck.

As for your tour, it was scheduled to commence at 7:30 PM, and all guests were notified around 2 PM regarding this schedule. Unfortunately, the bus arrived at 7:41 PM due to traffic conditions, and we had to switch drivers as the original driver was assigned to a different route.

Was a great tour of the monuments, but so much more....Regis was so knowledgeable and patriotic. He loves the USA and he is so grateful to be here. It was like a tour and a TED talk all in one. His knowledge of our history was amazing. Highly recommend!

I want to be completely transparent: I really like the concept of this experience, but I wasn’t pleased with how this particular tour was executed.
To start, our bus was a very old Greyhound with cracking seats and extremely dark windows. The intercom barely worked, cutting in and out throughout the ride. The biggest issue, though, was that the AC wasn’t working and it was a 90-degree day.
I will say, at our first stop at the Capitol, the owner did arrange for a replacement bus, which I appreciated. While the second bus was also older, it at least had working AC. However, we had to wait outside for about 30 minutes for it to arrive, which unfortunately put a damper on the overall experience. You could feel the frustration not just from me, but from others on the tour as well.
Another detail that stood out was the complimentary water. Given that DC was experiencing one of its hottest weeks, I expected it to be kept cold, but it was left in the original packaging at the front of the bus. It’s a small touch, but it would have made a big difference.
The guide was informative, and the owner was kind and responsive, which I do appreciate. However, until some upgrades are made to the overall experience, I wouldn’t choose this tour operator again

Regis promptly contacted dispatch to arrange for a replacement, which took approximately 45 minutes to arrive due to peak traffic conditions. During this wait, he engaged the guests with trivia, and Mr. John also contributed to the entertainment. The replacement bus arrived at 7:45 PM, and Regis ensured that all systems were functioning properly before allowing passengers to board.
Additionally, we provided each passenger with a complimentary bottle of water, and some guests even took an extra one.

The reason the tour began around 7:15 PM was due to an unforeseen circumstance where one of our drivers was involved in a car accident with the vehicle assigned to your group. We communicated this to you and offered the option to either reschedule your tour or request a refund; however, you chose to proceed with the tour. Mr. Marcelo kindly accommodated you and your party in the vehicle he was assigned to.
We regret to hear that you felt rushed during the tour. Our policy is to allocate 10-15 minutes at each stop to ensure a smooth experience. Extending our time at each location would result in the tour concluding around 11:30 PM or 12:05 AM instead of the scheduled 10:00 PM. We find that 99% of our guests appreciate our itinerary and the time allocated for their excursions. While we cannot meet everyone's preferences, we strive to provide the best possible service to all our guests.

I wish the description had been more detailed and clear. I was surprised to learn the tour involved about 7,000 steps, if not more. I didn’t have my walker with me, and the driver (Isaiah) rushed us throughout the entire experience. In fact, that was the only time he really spoke—there was no sense of hospitality or friendliness.
On a positive note, the tour guide was amazing and truly made the experience worthwhile. Sadly I can’t remember his name but he was a tax guy during the day. He was knowledgeable about the city and government, shared great insights, and maintained a cheerful attitude. He also gave some excellent food recommendations that made the trip even more special.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to D.C. The start was delayed due to a presidential movement, but the operator and tour guide more than made up for it. The stories, history, and trivia kept the entire experience engaging and interactive.
The guide even adjusted the route to accommodate military members, which was a true class act.
I would absolutely recommend this tour. Be ready to walk a bit, as they get you as close to the sites as possible.

Great experience! I love the bus taking your around but still being able to get off and take pictures! Jay and Karim were amazing and very knowledgeable. There were some traffic snags that they handled with grace and pivoted amazingly!

This was a very informative experience curated by Regis. Karim was so knowledgeable and authentic in his story telling of history and relating it to the present. Jay was an incredible driver who demonstrated his understanding of navigating the city during such a busy season (cherry blossom festival, the construction and re-routed pathways for various events).
