The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful with a big smile. The tour work kayak passed fast, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery. From the outside of the Ballard locks to nature such seagulls, bald eagles, seals, and sea lions. The train passing by the Balladrd locks. it was just a perfect Seattle summer adventure.

Our guide was Emma and she was fantastic. I was a little nervous, having never been in a kayak, and not really being a fan of deep water. Two of our three teens were skeptical that they’d enjoy themselves. We all ended up loving it. We saw plenty of seals and just enjoyed being out on the water. Emma was delightful and so helpful. Definitely recommend this tour as it’s been a highlight of our trip.
This tour is a fantastic way to explore the Sound, see wildlife, and learn more about Seattle. We even got to see a seal!
The tour was great, the tour guide too, totally worth it. Clear instructions, excellent view, excellent facts of the places seen along the way.
This was a really fun time and an amazing experience for me, a person who had never been on the ocean before! I'm from MN and I was really nervous to do it but decided to go for the adventure. Our guide was absolutely amazing and great about putting everyone at ease. It was beautiful, educational, exciting, and fun. I definitely recommend!!

It was great! Teri took our small group of 6 out onto the water. We saw harbor seals, herons, geese (and baby geese), eel grass, starfish, crabs, and we heard the sea lions. We learned a lot about the Puget Sound, the local tribes and local history, salmon run, and the south resident orcas. Teri was a great guide, and we felt safe at all times. I do wish we went further out into the sound, but I understand how that could be challenging for a guide to handle. I would definitely say that this was worth the money.
Beautiful water and surroundings, Guide was super kind, helpful and informative. We saw sea lions, seals, bald eagle nest and many other birds and water fowl. Highly recommend this tour!
Great experience. It was our first time kayaking and we had our nine year old with us. All of the necessary equipment was provided to make it a safe and comfortable tour. Great information about the history of the area. Would recommend this to anyone regardless of experience.
We went with our family and had a blast! Blaine was amazing. I am not athletic, but he made the trip so fun and easy. We were able to watch the sunset at the perfect time. He knew so much knowledge and I have learned so much about marine life, Seattle, etc. So fun!
I was very excited for this tour. However, I received a call about an hour before the start time telling me it was cancelled because I was the only one who signed up. That didn't give me enough time to find another activity and I had already paid. Super disappointed and have not received a refund.
We had a great time on the water. This was my very first time ever in a kayak and it was easy to follow along. Highlight of my trip so far!
This is a great kayak tour! It’s pretty gentle overall and beginners will have no problem. Getting to see the seals up close and in their natural environment was a highlight of our entire trip. Lindsay is a wonderful guide!
My wife was unable to come. They were able to accommodate me. I drew a very good partner to share the adventure.
There’s was clear signage and direction to finding the start point. Our guide was great in providing history and also at finding the harbour seals that were popping up around the rocks were a great surprise! It’s a tandem kayaking experience which does make it entertaining in its own way !
We had a good time, so much fun! Blaine was a great guide both in navigating the sound and in sharing both history and current details of the area. We enjoyed seeing all the seals and were fortunate enough to also see a great blue heron and a bald eagle. Definitely recommend this tour!
Guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The journey was 2 hours long. We saw sea lions and seals + other animals. Great experience! Might take up kayaking after this!
The guide made the kayaking experience fun and easy! My teenagers thought the 2 hours went fast. You couldn't beat the scenery! We saw harbor seals and a sunset I'll never forget.
