I thought it just went straight to Muir Woods. But, he gave a very nice tour of the city. The price included the Golden Gate Bridge, which added more to my trip than expected. Through the whole drive he took us by amazing scenery and let us know where great photo ops were available. Muir Woods is so breathtaking, beautiful, peaceful, too many adjectives to describe. I took the small trail so I could just absorb everything in this magical place. We then went to Sausalito The No Name Bar was friendly.. Although it’s not included, I chose to take the ferry back for $14. The views from taking the bridge over are amazing, but it was really worth it to see the bay from a different view.
I definitely recommend this 1/2 day trip! It’s a great deal and well worth it!

Muir Redwood is an absolute must visit for nature lovers. Its very peaceful, even spiritual. We didnt time to go off the main trail but the main trail itself was very beautiful. You could just sit in one place and look at the majestic Redwood trees in complete silence and absorb the beauty of the place. Sausalito was ok, not unmissable though. Its a nice town with lovely eating places.

Sit on the right side of the bus for the best views. The passenger’s side. The driver was a bit demanding wishing absolute silence for the trip. Otherwise the woods were great. Sausalito was beautiful with historical plates sprinkled around the town, and one of the best Hamburgers I’ve ever had.

Fantastic way to. See the sights near San Francisco! Our driver made sure we had opportunities to stop at the Golden Gate Bridge park to take pics, provided loads of history about the area, navigated the winding roads to Muir Woods with east, and he was kind and thoughtful to all. Muir Woods was spectacular. Woods cannot describe the beauty. Crossing over the waterways and spending time in beautiful Sausalito was the perfect way to soak up the gorgeous scenery and get a sense of place. We took the ferry back which I highly recommend!! Great trip and worth every penny

Muir Woods was so much more than expected. With only 90 minutes to explore and other tour groups already there, I was shocked that we saw deer, wild turkeys, and an otter while on the trail. The redwoods were stunning and we were able to enjoy our walk without feeling overly rushed. We also had time to browse the gift shop and visit the ranger station. We enjoyed the second portion as well. We opted to return by ferry instead of the bus, which allowed us to have a leisurely lunch and shop the boutique stores. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the tour.

This was a good experience. I’m glad someone else drove up the mountain to Muir woods, seems kind of scary to drive. Muir Woods was beautiful. The part where you go to Sausalito, that doesn’t seem necessary. Overall, I think it’s better to go on a tour sometimes than to do it on your own, you do learn more.

This was such a great trip. Driver was informative. Muir Woods was as stunning and breathtaking. Not a fan f Sausalito however it was still a cute town.

Great experience for visitors wanting a safe comfortable ride to Muir Woods. Grady was very knowledgeable about the city and a safe driver. A must do if you are visiting San Francisco.

Trip was very well organized. Our first stop was Muir Woods for about 90 minutes. I walked for about an hour (wished I could have taken a longer hike). We then went for about an hour to Sausalito. A beautiful small town by the water. All and all it was a very nice and safe trip. I would definitely recommend it to take a stroll around but not if you want to go for longer hike.

It’s the perfect amount of time. I would recommend taking the ferry back instead of the bus so you have more time in Sausalito.

A fabulous way to spend an afternoon! Our driver and guide, Lester, provided tons of information and humor on the drive from Fisherman's Wharf, over the Golden Gate Bridge, thru the Robin Williams Tunnel, up Mount Tamalpais and into the Muir Woods. The main trails were easy and filled with gorgeous redwoods, ferns, and moss.
We then went to Sausalito for a bit of shopping and ice cream. Yum! I wish we'd been able to spend a bit more time there, but it wasn't a huge deal.

It was a fun experience with Patrick our guide. He’s knowledgeable about the tour and funny with jokes at the same time. If he could tone down the jokes a bit and not step over our personal boundary more than once, then he’ll make an excellent tour guide.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm glad I went in the morning since I enjoy mornings. Though I am from San Francisco, it was my first time to Muir Woids. So peaceful and beautiful. Our guide, Grady did a great job especially with the history. I even learned more about the city I was born and raised in.

The Muir Woods were so beautiful to see in person! The air was so fresh. It was a neat picture place! The gift store was neat as well. I got a replica carved tree made out of red wood for memorabilia. Our tour guide Lester was great and very knowledgeable! Just a warning though if you are scared of heights, please know that the drive to the Muir Woods is a very winding road and it looks over a cliff.

There isn’t enough time in Muir Woods to do the entire route. You will see many Redwoods but it’s a little rushed. Personally, I didn’t think the stop in Sausalito was worth it. Our driver was very talkative. He will provide a blow by blow description of traffic movement.
