Excellent Guide

I think this tour really depends on your guide and the woman assigned to us, did a wonderful job. She went out of her way to get into spaces that others could not get into and, she answered all questions, thoughtfully, and thoroughly. The preview before going into the museums and Basilica was very helpful. She did a beautiful job explaining what we were about to see.

The golf cart tour in my opinion is the best way to get acquainted with Rome on the first day of arrival. Valerio and Omar were excellent guides and drivers. The golf cart takes you to all of the highlights of Rome , Jason was our guide and he made sure we saw everything we needed to see! He even had one of his drivers take us closer ti our hotel and the driver dropped us off at a quaint restaurant for dinner since we asked where to go ! I will try the night tour next time! Highly recommend this tour if you want a nice overview of the city

It’s an amazing experience visiting the Vatican museum, the Sistine chapel and the Basilica of St Peters. Our guide was very friendly and made us feel comfortable from the start. She was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. I enjoyed every moment. It went too fast at times and not being to take it all in. But well worth every penny.

We particularly enjoyed our visit to the Sistine Chapel and St Peters. Found both to be inspiring and uplifting. Enjoyed our visit to the parts of the Museum where we were able to see the various works of art. The first part of the Museum visit was less enjoyable because in the main it was a history lesson. Despite the enthusiasm of our guide for his subject - overall he was very good, knowledgeable and engaging, able to impart information without giving too much information - less history and more time to look at exhibits would have been our preference.

The day of the dead / All Saints’ Day takes on a new meaning. Amazed how the people were able to did the graves for thousands w just a hammer and chisel. The art work done w the bones took a lot of imagination Cecilia was a fantastic guide. She gave us recommendations for food and drink that the locals go to.

This was our second trip to the Vatican our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. We brought guest with us for there 1st time…. Not sure how I booked this tour differently from the first was one I was in 3 years ago, but this tour ended at the museum and the rest was on your own. This I did not care for…. The first visit we had the tour guide was with us every step of the way. Even in the Basilica where we were fed with information. Our visit this time was on our own. Simply felt we were missing something! Mind you this had nothing to do with the guide that we had for the period we had her… she was Excellent!
