Good boat tour of beautiful waters

Our boat guide, I forget his name, was amazing and fun! The waters, caves and sites were beautiful. It’s a great way to view the area! However, the description of the boat tour was a bit deceiving as well as no drinks were available to purchase as stated. There was no snorkeling equipment and I am not even sure where you would do that on this tour. The boat was fine, a bit old but it was a very crowded area to get on the boats and it pretty much was whatever group you were in just gets the next boat available. Overall it was a nice tour and I would recommend but Viator needs to maybe tweak the description a bit.

The experience was great....

The experience was great. However, the two things that can be improved is that besides the email providing the meeting location, the name of the boat should be given, the fact that the boat is not allowed to dock should be known, and the type of uniform or shirts the guides will be wearing should be described. We had a very difficult time finding the guide. Lastly, the Blue Grotto is so crowded, the chance of actually getting in to see it on the boat tour is slim. We did not get to see it.

We had an amazing boat trip with Captain Tony! He was fantastic from start to finish—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and special. He took us to some absolutely stunning spots around Capri, shared interesting history and stories along the way, and gave us plenty of time to stop and swim in the beautiful clear water. The scenery was breathtaking, and seeing Capri from the water was unforgettable. This boat trip was easily one of the highlights of our time in Capri. We loved every minute of it and would absolutely recommend Captain Tony to anyone visiting the island!

So Much fun

Marisa was our guide and she is excellent. I wish the description was much more clearer that the private boat tour is only around Capri. Almost everyone who took part in our trip thought we would have a private boat starting from Sorrento or Amalfi. Apart from that, this was excellent. Our guide (Marisa) did a great job explaining everything to us including sharing tips on where to eat the best gelato in Capri!

Nice way to see Capri by boat

Great way to explore the island and see Capri from the the sea. The boat goes around the island and stops and famous caves. The captain was nice telling stories and showing us houses of celebrities like Armani and Sophia Loren. The two-hour trip was just right in terms of duration. Keep in mind the boats are small and if you have vertigo, like someone in our party, this might not be a good option for you.

Only issue was we were only given a physical address without a name of the meeting point, so a bit difficult to find. The Best Decision You Will Make!

Only visiting Capri for a day and where we were staying we had to catch a ferry back by 5:45pm. So, looking around we saw the best way to see Capri in a short amount of time was a boat tour and boy did we pick the right one. Our 3 hour private boat tour with Captain Mario was hands down the best decision we made on our entire Italian vacation. From the moment we set off, we were surrounded by breathtaking views—towering cliffs, shimmering turquoise water, and hidden coves that felt like something out of a dream. One of the absolute highlights was swimming straight through the Green Grotto—diving into crystal-clear water and emerging inside a glowing natural cathedral carved by the sea. It was surreal and unforgettable. We opted out of seeing the Blue Grotto because it would’ve cut out too much time from the 3 hours we had. Since doing that, it gave us time for multiple swim stops. Mario made it more memorable by taking photos of us when we were in the water and on the boat. Captain Mario was an exceptional guide, skipper and also has a fantastic singing voice! His deep knowledge of the island’s history and stories brought every cliff, cave, and landmark to life, turning the journey into something far richer than just a boat ride. To top it all off, we enjoyed chilled prosecco and limoncello on deck as the sun sparkled over the waves. We still talk about this experience constantly—it truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. If you’re thinking about booking a private boat tour in Capri, don’t hesitate. It’s unforgettable!

The best day in Capri!

We took our two young children (5 and 7) on the half day boat tour and had the best time! Our captain, Luca, was great and his boat was beautiful - it was the perfect day in Capri. We loved having the boat to ourselves, and going at our own pace, and the kids loved jumping off the boat into the crystal clear water. We can’t recommend this trip enough if you’re in Capri!

The boat trip to the blue...

The boat trip to the blue grotto is the highlight of our trip in Italy. It was just perfect. Friendly captain and staff. 12 people on board on a little yacht, beautiful and well equipped. They even brought up Champaign, drinks and food enough for everyone during the 3 hour tours. Everyone has a lot of fun, kids love it. The boat went around the Capri island, stopped at the blue grotto allowed us to go into the cave on a small rowing boat at a separate ticket bought on site, well worth it, quite a experience for kids and myself. The boat also stopped for us jump into the water swim for about 20 minutes, a bonus on a hot day. I strongly recommend it to everyone, this is the best way to see the beautiful island Capri.
