Simone Went Above and Beyond!

Yes — that makes the review even better because it shows he went way beyond just giving the tour. I’d update it like this: Simone was absolutely wonderful! He was incredibly informative, accommodating, and made our golf cart tour of Rome such a great experience. We had just arrived after a 10-hour flight with very little sleep and were completely exhausted, and he could not have been more understanding. There was never any pressure or rushing—he made everything easy and relaxed while still making sure we got to see and learn so much about Rome. What really stood out was how helpful Simone was even beyond the tour. He gave us so many great local recommendations, especially for restaurants, and we had a fabulous dinner last night at one of the places he suggested! He gave us a rundown on everything we needed to know and even later that night was still helping me figure out transportation to the cruise port and offering to help with anything else we might need while we were in Rome. Simone truly went above and beyond. He was knowledgeable, personable, patient, and genuinely cared about making our time in Rome special. Such a wonderful introduction to the city, and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting Rome!

Amazing experience!

Victoria was a superb guide, giving us details we would never have known. Her deep experience with the Basilica was impressive. I will forever remember this tour. We went in late September and it was still quite warm. No AC inside the museum. Book in spring or autumn.

Irene is the guide you would need

We enjoyed the tour guided by Irene so much that we wanted to do it again with the whole family next year! She is very knowledgeable and she knows all the secret spots including where to watch the fabulous short film of the city of Rome’s before/after. She’s also super thoughtful by offering plenty of advices and heads-ups. It was a busy Sunday morning with tons of people on site, but our tour went smoothly thanks to Irene(yes she’s the bravest female gladiator in tour guides’ world and she protected us from some rude people who tried but failed to cut us off). By the way, the best gladiator in the world was Irene’s boyfriend who bought her a wonderful flat therefore if you plan to buy an apartment with a great view of Colosseum, Irene is the go to person.😝😉😁Thank you Irene, for sharing your passion and knowledge of the Colosseum and the wonderful city of Rome. A long but glorious day trip

The lunch was so magnificent that our following stops felt like we were (personally) trudging it. The daytrip is long, does not stint on locations, and Adela in particular was endlessly informative along the way.

Highly recommend! Great way to hit 3 spots without too long in the car

We loved our wine safari day! John Carlo was so engaging and full of knowledge about wine and history. He was a highlight of the trip for sure. The views were gorgeous at all of the stops. We will served plenty of wine and food. It's a bit chaotic at the train station finding the group but we were able to do so with only a few minutes of looking around and using their instructions. Perfect amount of time at each place too.

They need to look for the little number that is on the building across the street as to where to assemble. But there are people there to help so don’t be afraid to ask questions. Be on time because the tour guides are pretty good about keeping things moving and on time. Our particular tour guide was outstanding!

Efficient and generally worth it. I debated a long time whether to buy this tour or do it via individual tickets by buying direct. Vatican City is chaotic and would have taken a lot more time to navigate and wait in lines if I had tried to do it myself, so this tour was well worth it.

Wonderful Experience

An excellent experience. Sampled many different types of food from hand held street food to pastas, meats and cheeses. And the different wines were wonderful. Also tried Italian beer. Last stop was real gelato. Leonardo was a wonderful guide. We enjoyed his delivery!

I think anyone that...

I think anyone that DOESN’T use a guided tour of the Pantheon and Coliseum is doing it wrong. There is just too much to know and see to do it without an expert. The tour was well structured, the guide was very knowledgeable - and we definitely got the full experience without feeling rushed or like we missed out. Walking tours are my favorite for getting true value out of a historic place (vs. a singular sight/cool vantage point such as a mountain or a canyon). This one definitely didn’t let me down and I recommend it to everyone that intends to visit Rome. One thing I’d note for those who use Viator and go on different tours is to look at your options in relation to the premium spots/restricted areas. We did not have direct access to the underground portion or the top of the coliseum (which I believe is relatively new to being open to the public). I think those would’ve been amazing too but they were booked well in advance and we didn’t get the chance to jump into one of those groups. Enjoy!

Vatican, Sistine and St Peter’s Basilica-Rome Wonders!

Easy instructions and location to meet our guide , Andy who was exceptional, very funny , engaging and extremely knowledgeable, made it very easy for people to understand by using comparisons , illustrations and talking through the facts about statues and paintings and their history. The tour was absolutely incredible and breathtaking throughout . Our tour started at 8am and worked through each building finishing in St Peter’s Basilica to then walk around by ourselves which was truly amazing. The queues outside each place for people without pre booked tickets went on for literally miles and the key tip is to book all tours in advance without question! What a truly memorable visit - thank you so much Andy !
