The tour covered a lot of really fascinating stuff in both cities, showed a lot of unique views and facts about the areas, and helped to make the information digestible. The only complaint I have is that it didnt spend longer in Pompeii, as it only covered one corner if the city. But I'll see that as just motivation to go more days!

What a memorable day! Our guide, Andrea, was fabulous! He was so kind and personable and did a fantastic job guiding us through such a stunning area. His knowledge and love of the Amalfi coast clearly shows in his passion for sharing information along the way. At the last minute we scheduled a private guided tour through Pompeii. Andrew, our guide, was exceptional! His storytelling and knowledge of the area made for a such a memorable experience. A Perfect Italian Outing

Absolutely perfect. Knowledgeable guide, Mena, was fabulous. 2 hours was just enough to see the highlights. Wine tasting at Quirinoli was superb. Six of us shared a bottle of Prosecco rose, a white and two reds, followed by their home brand liqueurs. Lovely antipasti, ravioli and lemon tart was a delicious, light lunch. The transfers were on time and the driver was very professional.

Good tour

This is a very exertional hike up Mt Vesuvius and the uneven ground in both locations are challenging for anyone with mobility issues. However, it was great day, the archaeologist was very informative and the hiking guide very cautious and attentive. It was basically like two different tours and after the archaeologist left us in the ruins area, we had to find our way back to the front, try to find food and restrooms on our own before meeting the afternoon hike guide.

Excellent guide and tour!

Best Rome trip ever

The best excursion we have had from Rome! What an awesome comfortable drive to Pompeii with Luca, our driver. The tour with Gino was very comprehensive. He has been a guide there for over 40 years and we know we had the best! The trip to Sorento with stops for views and surprise and lunch on the seaside was amazing!

My first booking with aviator but definitely not my last. Eliana Sandretti was our guide. A Manager at Pompeii and archeologist. I’ve been to 30 countries and had several dozen tours but no guide has been as knowledgeable and been so direct with answers. She seemed interested in giving us the information we wanted to hear and since Pompeii is so incredible and we only had three hours she knew we didn’t have time for personal anecdotes (perfectly ok for other tours). And she went over the time and walked us to our train and then shared some personal history when we asked questions. I can’t remember a more informed and generous guide with a nicer disposition than Eliana.

Alexandra was a fantastic tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, engaging and there was a good bit of humour too. Thank yiu Alexandra! It was good to be able to stay on the park for longer than the 2 hour tour as well. Really needs a full day at least to see everything. Fascinating place.
