This tour was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Leonardo was incredible. Extremely knowledgeable about Rome, gave us tips for things to do and other things to watch out for. The food was delicious; great local spots. We even went back to a few of them later in our trip. The best part of the tour was the pride and love our guide, Leonardo, has for his city. He wanted us to love Rome like he does. Would take this tour again in a second. If you can, request Leonardo V, you won't be disappointed.

We loved this tour! We had the most amazing tour guide. She had great energy, was knowlegable in the history and had many interesting facts. We visited less crowded areas that were still quite significant. The food was great! We loved trying things we would not normally have eaten.

This food tour was a great way to begin our first day in Rome. A 6 pm start is perfect way to get some exercise and fresh air to ward off jet lag. Our guide Anna, was super nice and informative not only about the foods but also the neighborhoods and hidden jewels I was particularly touched by the history of the Jewish Ghetto neighborhood. The foods were representative of the different neighborhoods and all delicious and plentiful. Anna is special and I’m glad our paths crossed even if it was only for a little while!!

Alessandra is a treasure. She so happily shares her Italian culture and traditions while artfully engaging her group members with questions about their own cultures. Our food treats were varied and very generous in serving size. It was a delicious and delightful afternoon.

We signed up to take a tour of part of the city of Rome and enjoy some street food and culture. This is a great way to learn some of the history of important parts of Rome, enjoy some localized foods, and really get in touch with some culture in history in Rome. Our tour guide, Rita, was excellent.It was really interesting, very well organized, extremely well presented, and just a great tour. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

We were 3 vegetarians and Giancarlo knew exactly where to take us and what to order! Everything we ate was amazing and we also got a little history about the foods and the places he took us. I HIGHLY recommend this tour and Giancarlo in particular!

Our host, Flame, was fire! She was so sweet, picked the best spots, and adjusted the tour to meet our needs. This was also a quieter tour compared to typical Rome icon tours.

We visited cabullo street foods in the days after and the food was full of leftover pork fat which was disappointing, because it was very good on the tour.

Daniele was a fantastic tour guide! We loved all the lovely historical facts and personal stories he was able to share as a true Roman-born localman. Our family had a great time on this walking food tour with Lilly! We all loved her! Our 8 year old granddaughter was in tears when Lilly had to leave. She was such a sweetheart and very knowledgeable about the area and the food. This was one of our favorite parts of the week in Rome. Highly recommend!!
I booked this tour for 10 adults and 3 kids under 12. One of our adults got sick and had to stay at the hotel in bed all day. The final reservation with the tickets said 11 adults and 2 kids. The people that went on the tour was 9 adults and 3 kids. Nothing was compensated for with food or drink for the missing person. Also, I'm not sure if kids were cheaper than adults. Can any credit or refund be given for this?

We had an incredible time sampling the foods of Rome with our guide Ferrara. We also learned quite a bit about the foods themselves as well as the communities where we did our tastings. It was a wonderful morning and afternoon, and even a brief hailstorm couldn’t dampen our spirits!

We took the street food tour that ended in the Jewish ghetto area with Danielle - it was a delightful way to learn about and enjoy Roman street food, how they are different from other regions in Italy and how Romans eat. Danielle was charming and funny without being “over the top,” a wealth of information that was interesting, engaging and on point. Don’t skip this one!
