Such a fun day!

Great Castle Tour

It was a fantastic experience, Linderhof Castle was amazing... far exceeded expectations. The tour is physically demanding... we ended up walking around 6 miles. The hike up to Neuschwanstein Castle is a fair hike... you can take a shuttle or horse carriage as an alternative up to the castle. Our guide was A+... very imformative... very funny and entertaining. Also the driver was A+ as well... great tour all the way around and would highly recommend.

Really well done tour, our guide was Iain and he did a great job of going through the broader historical context that lead to Nazi Germany and the holocaust. The site itself is well preserved and informative. It’s an intense emptional experience, standing on the same grounds where so many evil things took place. But it’s an important thing to see, lest we forget.

Alpin History

Even on a rainy day (as ours was) it is still worth the trip. If you are a history buff there is quite a lot to learn. The view when the clouds cleared was incredible. And the bunkers were eerily fascinating. It gave us all chills and reminded us of how the world should never let this happen again in any country. It is a great reminder of what the Spanish American philosopher George Santayana said in his book "The Life of Reason", 1905 : "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

Bucket-list day with zero stress

We loved the fact that they took care of everything! We didn’t have to find tickets, figure out where to go or how to get there. Just meet the bus and enjoy the day! Our guide, Marleena, was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The bus was nice and even had a bathroom. And the castles are breathtaking! It was a bucket-list day, and they handled all the details for us. It poured rain on us, but other than that the day was perfect.

Team Leon All the Way!

What an amazing experience to have spent the day traveling back in time to Neuschwanstein Castle and the city that surrounds it. It was incredible to see and even better with Team Leon! He made sure we saw everything, showed us where to go and times to get there to maximize our day and took care of everyone on the bus the entire day. He was a wealth of history and great energy and fun to be around. This one can’t be missed if you’re in Munich and doing it on Team Leon makes it even better!

Fantastic day excursion- Ursula was a knowledgeable guide and shared so much information with us not only on the coach but also at each stop as well. The coach is beautiful and roomy and the snack and coffee bar a lovely extra to enjoy ... along with the Bavarian treat at the end of the Neuschwanstein castle stop 😊 It is a tight time schedule and it would have been nicer to have more time at each stop ... but still worth it.

Great perspective from the waterway

Great tour. And viewing of the sights from a different perspective. The guide was fantastic and explained everything so well. I missed my time slot the day I had booked for, and they told me not to worry just come the next day anytime and I did. It was during the busy season yet they were the ones telling me to join them after missing my booking. Really nice.

I think doing a food tour...

I think doing a food tour is one of the better ways to experience an unknown city. We have made it a point to do such a tour on the first/second day of arrival to a new place and have always had great experiences, including this one. They allow a great introduction to the city, stress-free trying of new/different foods and we generally come away with helpful recommendations for things to do around the city. Our guide for the Munich tour was Adam Joachim and we enjoyed our time with him. He was knowledgeable, easy to chat with and the tour never felt rushed. I would recommend doing this food tour.
