Great day with Christine and Fairytale Castles

Christine was absolutely amazing. Very nice, funny, helpful. The VIP experience was great. It was just my group that was on this tour so we had the entire bus to our selves. The bus was very comfortable and the snacks and drinks were a welcome treat after each stop. The driver, Quendrum, is an amazing artist at the wheel. He even made coffee. Both Linderhof and Neuschwanstein were beautiful. The castle tours were fun and informative. I definitely recommend the VIP experience.

A nice relaxing way to see these sites

A nice relaxed way to get to see two castles and Oberammergau. Our bus was very nice & with only 17 people in the group, there was plenty of room to spread out. We were greeted with fresh coffee & snacks such as pretzels and sweets. Our guide was very knowledgable & I think realistic about timing. We were lucky & it wasn't overly busy, so we had plenty of time to wait for a shuttle to avoid the walk up to Neuschwanstein, I was saving a dodgy knee for the stairs in the castle. We didn't go to Mary's Bridge as we were worried about missing out tour start time, but other people in the group said there was enough time after all. We had plenty of time for a sit down lunch in the little town after the tour before heading to the next stop. In Oberammergau, our guide took us on a short walking tour & gave us some history of the passion play. Linderhof Castle was a charming smaller castle, with lovely grounds. We had time for the castle tour & to get some water, but there wasn't time to visit any of the other sites on the grounds really. We were offered coffee or beer once back on the bus. We were back in the city in plenty of time to go out for dinner.

This was a very informative and entertaining boat tour. Michael, our guide was wonderful. It was in Germany and English and narrated beautifully. He highlighted various places to see throughout the tour. The boat departed on time and had good service for drinks and snacks. Would highly recommend this tour to see Berlins historical sights.

Recommend!

Great experience! Our tour guide was Deepak and driver was Phillip, both were so wonderful. The drive was smooth, and along the way we got to hear a lot of helpful background information about the sites we were seeing and King Ludwig. The first castle is a pretty quick visit because there’s really just the castle and a small gift shop. The second stop is much longer to allow you time to do a little exploring, grab food, and make your way to the castle (the parking lot is not right outside the castle). I’ve seen some users say they don’t feel the visits were worth it or were too touristy, but I personally really enjoyed this day trip! Not only do you see some beautiful icons of history and architecture, the drive out through Bavarian countryside is beautiful. We were very blessed with beautiful weather, though.

Overall very good...

Overall very good experience. Easy communication with the operator. We didn't buy our tickets for the castles and only noticed it the night before the trip. We left a message through viator but it was already past 9 pm so we didn't expect any response and were already prepared to not get inside the castles. However, the operator called me within 30 min of our message. She did not only help us resolve the issue with the castle tickets, but also offered us an upgrade to a smaller group because the original trip was overbooked. It was a very pleasant surprise. The trip next day went smoothly and we enjoyed our time.

We had a wonderful Berlin tour today with our guide Daniel and our very skillful driver. Daniel gave us one of the best experiences of our trip — he was professional, responsible, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about Berlin’s history. What made the tour extra special was how he brought along his own binders/books filled with articles and old photos of Berlin, then showed them to us right at each historical site. It helped us truly understand how things looked and felt in the old days. Our driver was also excellent — very skillful, careful, and smooth throughout the day. We felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Thank you both for giving us such a meaningful and memorable experience in Berlin!

Great tour with Maria and Katrina, unfortunately the weather prevented us from getting to the Eagles Nest, but our guides improvised and we still had a great tour. Some other reviews mention you need your passports as you transit partly the rough Austria, so remember to bring them.
