The guided experience greatly enhanced our appreciation of the Park and Basilica designed by Antoni Gaudi. We saw so many things that would have escaped our notice on a self guided tour. Our guide, Berta, was well informed, friendly, easy to understand, and very considerate of the needs of the group tour members. Everything happened on time and as advertised. Highly recommended.

Dasha and Paulina were the best! We thought everything was perfectly timed and never felt that we had too little or too much time anywhere. If you're only in Barcelona for a short of amount time, I highly recommend this tour as it covered all the highlights, gave an interesting history of Barcelona and its landmarks, and also gave us some good recommendations for the rest of our trip!

Great tour

The tour was excellent. I highly recommend it. I gained a lot of interesting information about the area and was able to learn a ton about the people who lived there and about the history of the alcibiin and its development. Unexpected surprise

This was one of those excursions where you aren't over the top excited about, but the reviews made it sound like it was a must do. I'm not catholic, so that made this even lean more heavy on the maybe something else on the trip itinerary. Eventually I gave into the experience and glad I did. So much history, art, and in the mountains. That hit a trifecta on things I enjoy. The museum had 2 Monets, a Picasso and a Carvagio along with several other pieces of fine art. This was the 2nd best tour we took on our trip followed only by Sagrada Familia.

Double check your directions if taking metro

The guided tour was great… so much to learn. Our guide was great! Make sure you have the right directions to the right entrance otherwise it will be very frustrating before you even get there. There are a lot of local resident entrances that are used on the navigation maps that cannot be used with this ticket purchase.

Highly recommend

We would highly recommend this trip. The maximum people on board is 12, which means you always have a place to sit anywhere around the boat. The staff were very friendly and the food/service was excellent. They have floats/paddle boards and snorkelling equipment, all free to use. It was a lovely boat.

We were hesitant about...

We were hesitant about having a guided tour (sometimes can just be a bit touristy) HOWEVER it was the greatest choice we made on this trip!!! Could not recommend it enough to anyone who is going to visit. They explain so much that I feel like we would have never noticed. 10/10 experience and very thankful for our guide!!

Incredible experience....

Incredible experience. Our guide, Alex, was very informative. The church is beautiful on its own but to understand all the hidden meanings and masterful engineering is definitely a highlight. Be prepared, even with fast entry with a guide the crowds are still immense.

Worth the Money

We were skeptical about paying such a high price when you can pay La Sagrada Familia directly for an entry, but direct tickets were sold out and we only had one day in Barcelona and this was our only way to enter, so we took a chance- it was so worth it! Philippe is an incredibly knowledgeable and kind guide. Hearing the nuances of the history, construction, architecture, design elements, and every other detail he shared allowed us to connect so much more deeply to the church. Highly recommend!

An Argument for Guided Tours

The guided visit was absolutely incredible. Our guide Daniela was fantastic, and pointed out details and meaning in the artwork of Gaudi and other sculptors that we would have otherwise missed had we done the self-guided tour (as verified by my parents who had done the self guided tour on a previous visit to the Sagrada Familia - they said they understood and learned a lot from this visit that they missed last time). Usually I would pass on a guided tour but this one I wouldn't miss!
