It was an absolutely wonderful day with Barcelona Local Experiences, arranged by ViaTour ----- The seven hour itinerary, combining walking and bus riding, was smooth and spectacular. Our three guides… Matilda, Angie, and Kiko were all incredibly talented and able to give us terrific insights into the history and culture of this beautiful city. We were able to see so many more great sites and landmarks than we ever imagined, and we are very happy that we did it with you. We never could have done this on our own. Our guide was Yolanda, who was equally charming and informative; she did an excellent job of corralling the group while providing information, keeping us on track, having fun and showcasing the Literary Quarter and its history. It was also a great thing to do as a solo traveler as I met some fun and interesting people and had a really fun and delicious evening. Would strongly recommend!!! Ask for Yolanda to be your guide!

The guide was very good...

The guide was very good in explaining the Park Guell and Sagrada Familia and the history behind both. It was a great event, and we were glad to have the opportunity to see them while in Barcelona. There is a lot of walking, and not recommended for persons that are mobility limited.

Great Experience

Very nice experience. Greatly enjoyed our guide (Yiorgos). He was engaging and kept us on time and organized. The wine tasting and tapas was good. Only slightly negative thing is that we wish the tour had a little more free time available (1 hour more) at monestary for hiking or other things, but then again you wouldn’t have time at winery. So, on balance very good.

Albert was amazing... give that man a raise! He was so nice, willing to answer any question we had, and recommended some great dishes. Jorge was great and very knowledgeable. He took good pictures and made sure everyone could see all the details he was pointing out. We booked this last minute and it was so worth it. I am normally not a guided tour person, but there are so many things we would have missed, due to the intricacies of the basilica. One of the coolest things I have ever seen.

Discovering Park Guell

Our tour of Park Guell was one of our favorite experiences in Barcelona. Our tour guide Jerard was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We learned about Antoni Gaudi as a person including his love for the church which translated into his many projects. We learned the purpose for Park Guell and the symbolism in the artwork. If we’d have gone on our own we wouldn’t have had such a meaningful experience. Definitely don’t go without a guide. Viator came through once again.

Amazing must-see place in Barcelona

I have visited Sagrada Familia twice previously but wanted to come back to see the central tower in place. It was still breathtaking to me! My husband hadn’t ever been so it was interesting to see his reaction to seeing it. It is all-encompassing and the size is overwhelming. We both found our Guide (Alesh?) rather difficult to hear - he spoke quite quickly and had trouble with the microphone - it was quite a long way from his mouth too. But what we did catch was very interesting. He finished 15 minutes earlier than the advertised timing which was a shame too, but we could then wander around the museum by ourselves.

Very easy and very good experience

I booked to go to Barcelona very last minute so getting entrance tickets was not possible. I booked this tour originally to simply get in! Meeting point was very simple and clearly explained (I was glad of as previously booked a trip in Rome and missed it as couldn't find meeting point!). Xavier (sorry don't know Catalan spelling) was charming, he explained everything really clearly and it was very interesting. It's a beautiful place.
