The meeting point for the...

The meeting point for the tour was a side street just off from the entrance to the Vatican museum. Once our time slot arrived we joined the “skip the line” queue which seemed long at first but went down very quickly. Our guide Alessandra was very warm, funny and knowledgeable. She took the time to make sure everyone was as comfortable as possible in the extreme heat and looked out for people who did not have as much mobility as others. She took the time to learn the nationalities of people on the trip which she would refer back to occasionally, and she also remembered the names of a few. This made the tour feel a lot more personalised and less scripted. The Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica were unsurprisingly the highlights of the tour.

This is definitely a must do. Florence our guide was wonderful. She did such an amazing job of pointing out all the major highlights of the Louvre it was so interesting and through. Wouldn’t recommend doing it alone easy entry skip lines. Thank you so much Florence for making it such a memorable experience.

The golf cart tour was so much fun. Our tour guide Valerio was great. He let my little boy be his ‘copilot’ ! He took us around all the sights and was good enough to drop us back off near the colosseum later in the day as we had a tour booked. I recommend this so much of you have kids who get tired easily.

Beautiful Italian countryside day-tour

Loved the full day in the countryside, but definitely very tiring. Our tour guide Manolo was amazing, he kept things lively on the bus and had lots of great information to share. He was also super helpful in answering questions we had about traveling across Italy. Even though the weather was super hot, we were still able to enjoy the special features of the Italian countryside.

Wow - Vatican Tour

Very informative tour. Lucia was a wealth of information! Skip the line ticket is the way to go as the other line was hundreds of feet long. There is SO much more to see vs what we were able to see in our shorter 2.5-3 hour tour. I learned a lot from Lucia and maybe some day will come back and spend more time exploring the Vatican with other more in depth tours.

My mum and I had a lovely...

My mum and I had a lovely day. The Douro Valley is beautiful- such a scenic drive and the boat ride was a great addition. The food and wine provided with lunch were delicious and we learned lots about the production of port wine and enjoyed the tasters and seeing where it was made. The best part for us was the opportunity to chat to other travellers on the tour over lunch and it made the trip even more fun. Our guide Josè was great and very informative. Our coach overheated on the way home and he very promptly and calmly dealt with the situation and a replacement bus was sent out as soon as possible to get us home. We would definitely recommend this trip to others if you have the time in Porto as it is a worthwhile day out!

Sunset slot for family of 3!

Our tour guide for the English tour with Uncle Sam tours was named Loveth, who was very knowledgeable and bubbly. We had an Evening/ sunset slot with stairs for ascending to 2nd floor and optional elevator for the summit. Our guide gave us all the history whilst in the queue for tickets and in 1st floor. While the experience was very nice and the host lovely, it is much more expensive (about double) than just queuing for a ticket at the gate but it was the only way to book in advance as the direct site advance tickets are gone very quickly once released for peak holiday season. We were only in the city for 3 days so we didn't want to take the chance of there being no availability on the days we wanted. Overall we were very happy we did it. The views are spectacular and worth every bit of it.

Awesome experience!

Julia (spelling?) Was an amazing guide. She was funny (loved her sense of humor) and informative. The pace of thr tour was great. It was a VERY hot day in Rome but she managed to keep everyone engaged and interested. It was obvious she had real historical knowledge and had studied Roman history. The tour company made it an easy process and doing a tour like this is so helpful to skip the line! It was also fun to see how well she knew all the staff at the locations we went to. I can't believe she does 3 tours/day. Shes amazing! Would highly recommend!

Very informative and exciting tour!

Zara knew everything! She taught us so much and her enthusiasm was amazing. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the tour was long. We went in July and it was extremely hot. It was nice to have water fountains to fill our water bottles along the way. So much information and all our questions were answered.
