All Austria Tours & Excursions in 2026

A big thank you to Sophia for taking care of our group; from checking in on our comfort during the bus ride to providing lots of history about each region. There could not have been a better way to spend a day away from the city and a perfect option for a Sunday, when most things are closed in Vienna. The weather was perfect for strolling, and it wasn’t too crowded since it was the end of September/shoulder season. I definitely appreciated the free time to roam, and although the Skywalk wasn’t functioning, I was still able to find plenty to do in the allotted three hour window. It’s worth re-mentioning to bring Euros for the bathroom, snacks/lunch, tours, and souvenirs, but if you forget, there is a machine that takes card to buy a ticket for the bathroom and there’s also a small grocery store, both by the main entrance.

A must see, in the middle of Vienna’s historic center at St. Peter’s Church. It was organized well and timely. The 4 person orchestra played the entire 1:10 hr . The music sounds in the church was amazing and heavenly . If 60 and above , Sit on the chairs instead of the benches for more comfortable experience . We sat in the first middle row and it was wonderful. Please please buy your ticket at the church or at Viator since there are many questionable persons dressed in Mozart era clothing selling god knows what tickets on the streets.

Well worth it if you are short for time in Vienna . Fabulous day trip but short of time in each town ( 2 hrs each) if the bus started at 6am - more time could be spent in each one. Bus is 3 hrs to Hallstatt- which is fine as you can snooze on way there, the first hour is mainly city and towns and then countryside Hallstatt- we did the cable car up to the skywalk which is well worth it! The views are amazing. We did not have any time to go to the salt museum or venture down the Main Street fully which looked gorgeous! And we were not wasting any time!! The extra hour could definitely be spent here. So quaint. 1 hr in between both on the bus Salzburg - national day was being celebrated so we got the best of both worlds, the traditional outfits being worn by the locals really emphasised the atmosphere. Fabulous little streets with nooks and cranny’s which lead into other streets. 3 and 1/2 hrs back to Vienna If you have enough time it would be well worth spending a day in each place but if not - great choice of a tour !!

In this trip you get a lot in one day. We were very tired at the end of it but it was truly worth it. Our tour guide was informative and patient. His recommendations were helpful and the stories and tales were entertaining. Bratislava and Budapest are definitely worth seeing for the history.

What a phenomenal experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon wine tour with dinner. Stephan, our guide, was so fun and kind and make it such a nice day! We really enjoyed meeting Peter and Martin at the wineries, hearing their stories and tasting their delicious wines. Everything went so smoothly, the communication was outstanding, and we would highly recommend this experience to anyone!

Easy, no-stress tour from Salzburg to Hallstatt. A friend recommended I check out Hallstatt. Very glad I did. Charming, beautiful town. Great scenery along the way. Would take this tour again. We had a double-decker bus. The top level filled up completely, so arrive early enough to secure a seat.

Very nice 1/2 day tour with 3 stops (first at beautiful old castle; only had 15 min to explore the outside. Would have liked the opportunity to tour the inside) next stop was the underground lake and cave tour👍. Lastly we did our wine tasting in a lovely village in a quaint restaurant. The guide was excellent. Highly recommend this tour

Dace, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. Our group learned so much about the history and unique facts about everything that was highlighted on the tour. Where Dace took us was interesting and it was really great to see and learn. It was interesting and it was a lot of fun!
