We learned quite a bit of history, visited places we didn’t know we would visit, the Duomo was amazing, and the Last Supper was spiritually magnificent! Kiara, our guide, gets 10 stars out of 5! She was extremely knowledgeable, humorous, and vivacious - an exceptional guide. She added “flare” to the tour and even recommended a tremendous restaurant for all of us.

Great way to see Milan’s major sites in a day- Sforzesco Castle and fountain, Chiesa di San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore- the Sistine Chapel of Milan, Duomo, and the highlight of our tour- the last supper. Sam our guide was amazing. Lots of walking but gave us a coffee/snack break and a lunch (pay your own). Highly recommend if you have only a day or two to see Milan.

Itinerary

Begin your day in Piazza Luigi Cadorna, where you’ll join up with your guide and small group. Come prepared with comfortable walking shoes and clothing that covers the shoulders and knees, as a dress code is enforced at many of the churches.

Take off into the city, learning about the famous Duomo di Milano as you go. The Gothic cathedral is the largest church in the country and the fifth largest in the world, taking nearly six centuries to complete. Crowds collect early at this showstopper, but you’ll bypass the lines entirely with your direct-access ticket.

Afterward, pay homage to one of the world's largest shopping malls as you pass the 19th-century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Then skip the line inside the Chiesa di San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore before heading toward other top attractions, including Arco della Pace, Sempione Park and the 15th-century Castello Sforzesco. See artwork from the controversial Maurizio Cattelan and Bramante’s optical illusion inside the Church of Santa Maria presso San Satiro.

After pausing to purchase lunch, head to the UNESCO-listed Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie, home to da Vinci's The Last Supper. Get an up-close look at the iconic mural, and learn about its restoration.

This is six hours - basically all day

Diane_M, Apr 2026
This is an all day tour. Although interesting it covered a lot of this city that other tours cover as well. Vendor canceled my schedule tour date and offered me two days later. But I was unable to complete the whole tour. Not knowing that it was all day

Great Experience!

Leslie_B, Apr 2026
Very thorough walking tour of the older part of the city center but also focused a little on the fashion districts as well as the more historical spots. We went into a small church that is operated by volunteers as an extra treat and it was indeed. Simone was very knowledgeable and informative. Lucked out to get into see the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday as well as the Duomo given the services.

Exceptional Tour!

Angie_M, Apr 2026
We traveled around Italy for 3 weeks, ended in Milan and this was one of our best tours. What made it even more exceptional was our incredible tour guide, Christina, who was nothing short of phenomenal. Her passion and knowledge of the city's history and culture was exceptional. We explored Milan's most iconic landmarks while she also informed us of hidden gems throughout the city. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Milan. We only had 3 days in the city and this was the perfect tour to see the highlights of the city.

Best Tour to Learn about Milan and See the Sites!

Kelsey_I, Mar 2026
Wow what an AMAZING tour! Our guide Samantha was SO knowledgeable and funny. I wish I could have a tour guide like Samantha on every trip we took! She navigated us around the city with ease and took us to a local bar for a pit stop and Italian restaurant for lunch. This really is the best way to see the The Last Supper and the Duomo in one day. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn all about the city!

Milan tour with Last Supper and Duomo

Victoria_A, Mar 2026
Christina was a wonderful guide, with perfect combo of enthusiasm and information. We were unfortunately delayed by our train and missed the first couple hours of the tour, but would 100% recommend our tour guide as she was amazing and very kind, tried to catch us up by letting us know what she had shown the other members of our group!

Very educational and informative with Kiara or Chiara.

William_M, Feb 2026
Our tour guide named Chiara or Kiara, was THE BEST, as she always kept us entertained while she was teaching us about the area, and there was a LOT to learn from Ciara or Kiara. 6.5 hours with a 50 minute lunch break, and we walked 11,500 steps. Our two complaints was, and also mentioned by other people is: 1. The company what supplied the transmitter/receivers "Whispers", provided the most useless fitting ear-buds, which kept falling out of our ears. As we were walking, I saw nearly everybody else and I as well, fiddling with our ear buds that were falling out of our ears. Please, to the company that supplies the "Whispers" please use the smaller round silicone ear buds and not those buds that are made of hard plastic and shaped like a small coin. Also, the "Whispers" had TERRIBLE reception. Unless I was close enough to hear Ciara/Kiara with my naked ear, I could barely hear her speaking if I was 10 meters away from her, which is REALLY VITALLY important because often she turned a corner and kept quickly walking and for those of us at the back end of the line on those narrow sidewalks, we didn't hear and learn what she was saying, and often we didn't know where she was far ahead of us, or which way to turn if we couldn't cross the street on the same green light. 2. To Ciara/Kiara our tour guide, please, when you are walking down the street with your group behind you, please slow down and turn around to know where your last people are in the group. Also, when crossing the street or turning a corner, talk to us through the Whispers and tell us what direction we are should be going and what land-marks we should be passing if we get behind you and were not able to cross the street intersection because the street light had already turned red for us at the back end of the trail of your group - which I admit that only works if the Whispers have better transmitting power than the ones that were given to us the day we went. The best thing Ciara/Kiara, is to pay better attention to where the last people are in your group before walking up the street and turning corners. Thank you.

Chiara is the bomb dot com

Julia_B, Feb 2026
Chiara was an absolute delight. Not only was she knowledgeable about the area, but her quips and humor shined brightly. She made the group comfortable while also relating humorous experiences from her time in Milan. AND we received some very interesting history that would be tough to find if I were to wander the city on my own. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like a native perspective with the additional humor factor.

The best tour of Milan. If you are on the fence about booking this or not, do yourself a favor and book it right away!! You get to see many little hidden gems from the locals that you would not see. The Last Supper is unbelievable.

Taking a walk through Milan

Charles_B, Feb 2026
Wonderful walk through central Milan with our guide Samantha who knew the ins and outs of the city and its attractions. Many points of interests with the Last Supper and the Duomo as the highlights.

Overall good way to see last supper and Duomo

Robin_R, Feb 2026
Samantha was a great guide. We started far away and only walked through the castle area although there would have been time to see the Michelangelo statue that was not a part of the tour. We zig zagged back and forth which seemed to be burning time to our last supper start time at 1230. Lunch was fantastic. Overall great tour but would add Michaelangelo stop and walk a more direct route afterwards.

If you’re joining in the winter, wear many layers as majority of this tour is outdoor. Everything we saw - very nice. Just lacking La Scala so you’ll need separate tickets for it.
